Balance Changes in Path of Exile: Betrayal

The stat stick change is downright baffling. You made shaper stat sticks way to powerful, didn't actually fix how powerful they are for casters at all, and nuked unique stat sticks like Death's Hand and The Scourge from orbit for no reason.

The nerf should have been targeted at shaper stat sticks specifically, and 2H melee weapons should have been rebalanced/buffed.

"The Hierophant node Ritual of Awakening no longer grants +1 to maximum number of Summoned Totems. Instead it now causes skills that would Summon a Totem to summon two Totems instead, and grants 3% more Damage per Totem."

This change fucks over people that want to use more than one totem (think Searing Bond), don't force this stupid "double totem" behavior on Hierophant. I'm also not a fan of the other changes to Ritual of Awakening, it feels like Soul Mantle is being made even more mandatory which is infuriating.

Instead of nerfing shaped Stat Sticks you nerf all of them... but not for casters. I have no idea what must be in Patch Notes tomorrow to make it not worst ligue ever.

Yet again after they ruined all of the rare but great retch builds they say nothing on that. Is it really that hard to add an obscure way to instantly lifesteal that wouldn't be very beneficial for usual builds but something cool for retch bow/wand lightning damage users? The prerequisites to make the build work were already high, at least give us something!

GGG would not fuck up stat sticks for melee and then leave it wide open for casters, they are not that stupid.

Today there is just a little salt floating around wait until the "we nerf all public uniques" thread tomorrow arrives and of course they will not change stat sticks for casters. There is is reason why this game is called "path of we hate melee" since years. ;o)

Dev manifesto is nice but stuff to prepare build for what's coming is better.
Need new gems with their respective key words and tree to see what can be done with the changes.
nerf stat stick is killing entirely builds and items in the game.

I don't think you was, ready at all, for doing it.

You should first fix all garbage skills in the game and later take a look on the stat sticks....
