Gotta say GGG, you are amazing at making content and keeping us enganged in content, but the way you balance is puzzling sometimes...

This DW nerf is too far, too much. It was shaper stat sticks that needed a nerf.

As someone who used them in at least one build a league. I will own that. But you just murdered the fuck out of DW at its core.

Total nonsense.

The way double strike was designed was to have synergy with "on hit effects" or in other words fast attack speed.

That is the opposite of 2h weapons.
i am so not looking forward to molten strike nerfs in the patch notes tonight.

Im calling it now,
-1 ball from enchant.
-1 ball from threshhold jewels
-1 ball from grelwood shank

Some sort of life gained on hit does no longer applie to projectiles but buff to gained on kill

so maybe youve missed several leagues worth of 'questionable' balancing decisions that.. well.. look like an epic piece of blindfolded spreadsheet art

starting with.. introduction of stat sticks and flat-added ele abyss jewels. these two alone made 90% of skills that DO NOT BENEFIT from them useless (in the 'viable' category).


the biggest joke of this patch is 'cold DoT meta'. lol.. i wonder if there is a single person who asked for that? and if there is - why use these junk reworks (all reworks shown so far are duds) if you can get Blade Vorted/Glacial Cascade and abuse the f.. of stat sticks, conversion, penetration etc that (yet another 'questionable' move) GGG gave us in large quantities..
So you're not nerfing the Hunter at all? but why the Shadow with saboteur?
I feel like someone at GGG has something against traps or at least the shadow.

Lightning trap, ice trap, and all the new traps need to be reworked. the feel of lightning trap and ice trap are clunky in their use. All of the bonuses you gave us in one league then its taken away and then it was so unusable that there were literally no trapper build guides for Delve, I've checked, and the only ones that are there are bumps from the last league or a copy and paste from the last league with no updates (So still unusable but with the flare of a well thought out plan from a league that doesn't exist).

When you reworked it again it was made too slow, and if you are going to nerf the speed then why take out that fourth trap that really helped in Cluster trap. that really does make a huge difference, I tried to make it work but in the end, it was ridiculously hard to use past level 50, and unusable past lvl 60 without some amazing and expensive gear and even then it was a shadow of its former self.

I feel it was an overcorrection of traps.
I wouldn't feel so bad about it if you nerfed the new skills in the same manner. but that hasn't been done so I feel that it was an oversite or someone at GGG honestly doesn't like the shadow (Which makes this post feel personal because he is my favorite.)

Not really expecting a response but just though I would try and let my voice be heard.
