Any ideas for annointments?
can we still fit essence worm on the build? I imagine that the +40% mana reservation also applies to mines, so the cost of spamming mines might get quite high

and also, what about skitterbots? not worth the dmg % + mine explosion/reactivation?
Can anyone help with rare weapon filter on poe.trade/off. trade?
Been mapping for a day, my gear is as follows (about 30c investment):



I was initially running 2x heartbreaker (given divinarius were 1.5ex each yesterday), but the shield dropped and it gave me an extra ~200ehp and bumped me up to ~4.5k ehp).

For ascendancies, I took Born in the Shadows, Bomb Specialist, Explosives Expert, and will take Pyromaniac as the last.

Leveling was very smooth, I experimented with lightning trap instead of ice spear mine and found the single target can be a bit more reliable, but ISM is very satisfying.

The only issues I have with blight content so far are when blight bosses spawn during map encounters. Overall DPS wouldn't be an issue, but I can't usually kill them before they reach the node and destroy it. I'm sure that's just due to poor gear and would be resolved by the usual upgrades (gear stats, 20/20 gems, 6L ice spear, etc etc). I also find sometimes that throwing arc mines can feel a little sluggish.

Having a lot of fun with this. Would be interested in ideas/opinions from others playing this in 3.8.

I want to 6L my arc and use it as my main skill, any ideas for last link? I'm thinking lightning pen or added lightning, but i don't know. Also would like to know opinions on annointment for amulet. thanks d00ds

Your character tab isn't visible, so can't see what you're running at the moment, but we'll assume it's:

Arc - Minefield - Trap and mine damage - Added Cold damage

A shaper helm would add Blastchain and an additional mine ideally.

If we have a look at poe.ninja (https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?class=Saboteur&skill=Arc), the top supports for arc are:

- Trap and mine damage
- Blastchain mine
- Increased crit strikes
- Lightning pen
- Minefield
- Added lightning
- Controlled destruction

So I guess you'd pick one from that list (going top to bottom in decreasing order of popularity). Probably also worth going into POB and comparing a 4L arc in a shaper helm with blastchain + additional mine to a standard 6L with some of these options to compare DPS. Off the top of my head, I don't know how much dps an extra mine adds compared to a 6th support gem link. Perhaps someone else can weigh in with opinions on that.

If you show your character tab on your profile I can check PoB for you to see which is the best 6L for arc

Off the top of my head its probably
Arc - Blastchain mine - Increased Critical strikes - trap and mine damage - lightning penetration - added lightning damage

Looks like there are a few useful options for mine damage annointments:

- Destructive Apparatus
- Successive Detonations
- Blast Waves
- Efficient Explosives
