Biggest deal for my tree, I don't know if Righteous Army/Redemption ends up being more or less damage than pathing to Gravepact. Both options are 6 points of investment, so it's not a huge deal and can be easily swapped, or you can even dump those 6 points for more defensive options if you really want.

For instance, the top-right jewel is 4 points away, and getting 8% more life might be better than either DPS option depending on where you are at with your gear.

Honestly, if I were you, I would hit that thing with an annul orb and multi-mod. Hopefully you keep the +1 minion gem and mana/damage hybrid. But that's just me. If you aren't looking to do that, the trigger utility is too good. If you're gonna stay W&S, you will see how much easier and relaxed the build becomes with that craft.

Thank you for suggestions!
What a great build, with a super-detailed description too!. The leveling section helped a LOT!. While I'm not a complete newb to PoE, it's been a while since I last played, and this made my return back to PoE super smooth and fun.
Hey, I was wondering, is it a problem to have added elemental damage on 1 or several piece of armor ?
Will it fuck up EE ?

Also how do I recognize Fossil-crafted boots ? And what are the advantage of those ?

Thanks
@royaleägle

EE applies +50 resist to the elements you hit with and -25 to the elements you don't. These elements being fire/cold/lightning.

So if you hit with something like armageddon brand and have something like +1-15 lightning damage to spells on your ring, your armageddon brand is going to do fire and lightning damage, so the enemy will get +50 to both those elements and -25 to cold. This is very bad for you because you are trying to get that -50 to lightning.

You can generally have any amount of added fire or added cold on your attacks and not care, but having any source of added lightning damage makes EE VERY bad for your build, so pay attention to that. It's part of why it's important to have generosity linked to wrath - so you don't screw yourself by accidentally adding lightning damage to your fire spells you're using to proc EE.

Wanted to share this iteration of the passive tree. It moves a couple of nodes around, but ends up with notably more ES, 6 total jewel socks, and some block while giving up a little bit of minion damage to get all that stuff, which this build already has plenty of.

It demands a lot of money be spent on optimizing stats and resists on your gear, but I think it ends up being the most optimal way to build the tree assuming you can out-spend your resist problems.

The tree is at level 98, and the last 2 points can either be spent on Arcane Focus or Arcane Will - or my preference would be to get an Intuitive Leap and slot it on the witch jewel socket, allowing you to pick up Enigmatic Defense and Mystic Bulwark.

In order to enable all this and still run skitterbots in the v2 iteration of the build, you would have to spend your annointment on Charisma, that should get you JUST enough mana reservation reduction to run the full build. If that's not enough, you can always get 1% addition reservation reduction with corrupted jewels, or even a conqueror's efficiency to get the right amount of mana reservation needed.

I like how you've optimised the tree.

Interestingly, I actually found a loss of ES (3434 -> 3120), but an increase of life (6107 -> 6274). SD DPS also increased (938k -> 977k). Gained 10/10 block.

Without Sentinel, resistances may become more difficult/expensive to cap, but PoH EB/MoM isn't an entry level build.

I would change the tree slightly, though. Swap Redemption for Sovereignty. Refunded Spiritual Command and put that point into one reduce mana in Sovereignty cluster. This solves the mana reserve issue without needing to annoint anything - future-proof and standard-friendly.

Could also swap the jewel slot for Fearsome Force. That will bump DPS to 1mil.

Yeah there is a lot of flexibility in the tree still, Redemption, Sovereignty (with varying amounts of mana reservation), Righteous Army, Ravenous Horde, Gravepact, and multiple options for a 7th jewel socket are all available.

It really comes down to the individual players gear I guess.

One of the things to take advantage of in general is the ability to leverage one of these extra jewel sockets into a clarity watcher eye, and potentially haste as well if you can manage to fit that into your build.

If you got clarity/haste, you have 40% damage going to mana and phasing all the time which reduces likelihood of you getting targeted in the first place.

This brings meaningful defense to the build.

thanks for the awesome build. managed to down UE with only 4 specs and kinda mediocre gear
Thanks for the great build.

I'm following along the V2 build but not sure what the latest "official" recommended Ascendancies are, sorry.

Looks like Mindless Aggression -> Unnatural Strength -> Bone Barrier seem to be the first 3?

But after that, the 4th varies between the first V2 PoB and the 09/26 PoB (and between the level 90/95/100 trees in there) -- some builds have Plaguebringer and others Mistress of Sacrifice.

Just wondering what the consensus for the "official" V2 build will be so I can aim for it (currently still leveling up since I'm a bit "casual").

The fourth Ascendancy depends on if you want more DPS (Plaguebringer and Flesh Offering skill) or to be more tanky in which MoS and Bone Offering skill is highly advisable.

Would take the latter from personal experience, haven’t noticed a dip in T13-T15 clear speeds even after dropping 180K-200K DPS (was around 975K) and at the same time had plenty more survivability.
