[3.4] Arc Mines Hall of Grandmasters Farming Build

How big of an impact is the PvP scaling nerf to Scorching Ray? Will it make it hard to kill those crazy ES block builds?
Would it be easier to switch to Vortex mines/traps? It has degen and it would at least get some damage scaling from our passives/gear.

What ascendency points and in which order u're gone take?
What you think about going assasin and using Shimmeron's over tremor.
On PoB, the new one looks to be more dmg, more likely like 40k more, but I might be wrong there.

I did several HoGM runs with Shimmerons and it was really bad. "Mines can be detonated an additional time" is really nice for HoGM.

About to use this as my league starter (always wanted to try a HOGM farmer as a league starter), I wanted to do the EA + Zerphi's farmer last league, but Zerphi's seemed too hard to come by. What do you think would be the optimal strategy to start and get to HOGM as fast as possible? Just self farm T1-7's for currency, then jump into PJ rotations when you have enough $$$, and then jst buy the last maps needed to unlock to begin farming, then go to HOGM when you can comfortably run them?

Why do you choose Arc over Glacial Cascade for Hotgm? I farmed it with GC mines last League, was really nice, just got a bad time at chaos damage and bleed grandmasters. :P Any suggestion?
