a) raising federal income tax rates
b) clamping down on healthcare costs (some transparency would be a good start)
c) cutting all sorts of useless programs (and their overpaid employees)
d) all of the above

In any event, my off-track was only to show that the Murkan people have been voting for the Cult of Personality, and not holding said CoP accountable, for far longer than Jan 2017.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Here's a summary of what I imagined the conversation was like.

Donald, "You need to do something to help the stock market."

Mnuchin, "There's really nothing we can do to help. The market is best left alone."

Donald, "Call some bank CEO's so they can tell you everything is okay. Then make it public that everything is okay. That should fix the market."

Mnuchin, "I don't think that is going to work."

Donald, "I know better how this works. Just do it."

Well of course they'd love to, but as you point out yourself, it's hard to explain the current situation that way — which is why, in practice, actual white supremacists tend to spend most their time punching up — from their deluded perspective — at the illusory cabal that they believe is controlling the system, persecuting whites, and unfairly elevating nonwhites. However, crazy and incorrect conspiracy theory aside, the white supremacists are ironically not about a narrative of white dominance but instead of white domination. They see themselves as victims, and when combined with MRA ideology and paranoia over the persecution of Christians, some of them believe that to belong to several of these groups — e.g. a white Christian male attracted to white women — makes one more persecuted than, say, a white atheist woman attracted to black men.

In other words, intersectional white identitarianism is unfortunately a thing.

These white supremacists you are so scared of follow an ideology that quintessentially mirrors that of intersectional feminism — that is, the conspiracy theory that LBGT women of color are a heavily persecuted group in Western societies. And like their national socialist mirrors, I'm quite confident that these so-called democratic socialists would rather be punching down than up, if given the opportunity.

But all of this is a derail. Trump is not a white supremacist. He's merely labeled one by the identitarian communists, as they label all who refuse to kiss their ring.

Popping my head in after a week or so, and I see the thread dominated by Proggies and their fellow travelers circle-jerking to impeachment fantasies and hollow imaginings of President Trump's "depravities." Been searching the net for oldies Christmas songs, past few days, you know Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, THE KiNG (there is... still ONLY ONE KiNG and yes he's alive and kickin'), then bumped upon Band Aid 1984, great song, great artists, great times, long forgotten I'm afraid. What made me really sad was a comment by some guy, he said something like "...in the 80s everybody was like let's save the world... whereas today everybody is like fuck the world, it's my money, I worked too hard for that...", couldn't be more true, regretably so!

Well I really don't know what to say about your current President, maybe I'm not even entitled to an opinion, being non-American n all that, but hey it's still a free world we live in, at least it was so, last time I checked, can't be too sure that that will be the case in the near (or not so near) future but still. I just hope things gonna work out for the benefit of the entire world. You're playing with fire with the situation near the Russian borders you know, it's not like any war that we know of (from recorded history), this time there will be nothing left for the victor, no spoils of war, no nothing, but I guess I'm just observing the obvious.

Oh what the heck, I wish Arnie runs for presidency, I'd gladly vote for him... "get to da chopper...", I like the way he still seems... palpable, human or is that humane(?), some guy, huge as he is, he remains of... this earth. Acting n all that helps for sure, but still he's convincing, great charisma does that, he'd made a great d&d Paladin no doubt about that!

Saw the King the other day. He retired from his work at the FBI and is now running security at the mall. Had to cut our convo short so he could excort a couple old ladies and the presents out to their car. Cool dude. Also in much better shape than at the time of his "death".

In this post you insult and publicly wish death upon a man because he implied to a 7-year-old that Santa isn't real. Not explicitly stated it, merely implied.

There was a time when you were above such grotesque displays of petty hatred. There was also a time the media was above indulging it.
