[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri

I played Spectres last Abyss league using a own variation from Natt build (no MoM, but with Harrier, Revenge of the Hunted, Blood Siphon, Blood Drinker and 6 Abyss Socket Jewels on tree). 6400 HP and 1500 ES.

Even i played without Shaper Amulet and Shaper Shield for spell block i completed 157/157 Atlas, killed Shaper/Uber Atziri deathless and completed 40/40 challenges.

I usually lvl up until 85 with SG and then switch to TV (swapping some Abyss Jewels and Flesh Offering for Bone Offering).

On last league i ascended (in this order): Mistress of Sacrifice > Flesh Binder (needed to get Soul Weaver) > Sould Weaver > Commander of Darkess (for clarity lvl1 'trick' to get +20% to all Elem. resist)

In the bestiary league I will try to use SG even on 'end game' (no TV). So my question about Ascendancy:

Invoker (for getting Soul Weaver) > Soul Weaver > Asking here* > Commander of Darkess (+20% to all resist)

Asking here*:

I don'tknow what to get here:
Mistress of Sacrifice (pros: Your offerings, basically Flesh Offering because i will run SG affect to you, 50% instead 100% but affect to you)
Puppet Master: Those move speed, cast speed and Inc damage seems very useful for SG.

What do you think?

hey guys. what to do with new acendency tree with this build?? please help me. i am newb and i fu....g need to kill shaper for first time :D
So, I just finished crunching some numbers in PoB using Reckless Defense Jewels to compensate for the Mistress of Sacrifice rework.

Here's a PoB link to what the tree would look like at level 28. It's basically just a calculation of what the block chance would look like when levelling.

https://pastebin.com/9w5u9h3J

And here's a PoB rework of Natt's 3.1 tree.

https://pastebin.com/6KWnKdF9

Pros:
- It's a simple little rework that doesn't sacrifice anything on the original tree.
- Using Reckless Defence jewels would ramp your block chance back up to the maximum.

Cons:
- You have more chance to receive critical strikes. Though that might not be such an important issue when you can block most hits.
- You have to solve some Dexterity issues, though that can be done fairly easily by looking for gear with added Dex. You need at least 59 additional Dex on your gear to hit 113.
- You lose access to jewel bonuses that can't be replaced. This is my rework's biggest drawback.

Anybody care to look at this and tell me what they think?

This is great many cool spectre builds from these new 3.0 mobs.

Man I am excited at the thought of tukuhama's shield + 5 spectres = 10 totems.

Thanks to an amazing idea, I decided to try it out in the name of science! 13 ex in standard spent but who cares?

Works like a charm :)

vanguards are not dropping 2 totems per vanguard. I did spec in Necro Aegis so did they nerf this???

Did they get rid of Vanguards ability to drop 2 totems per?

I speccd in Necro Aegis and have Tukos equipd

Am I missing something else?

Thanks
They indeed nerfed it. I don't know when specificly, but quite a few pages ago I read someone say it got nerfed, so tuko fortress is unusable for this build, sell it.

They changed TV AI to be way less likely to summon a totem while they already got one, and they massively reduced the duration. Meaning they are less annoying to clear with but lose single target dps in long fights due to replacing and just having 1 totem each - their damage is still WAAAY more than "fine" though. So no worries there
now that the patch notes are out, i would like to know if
a) this guide gets updated (maybe even before the actual season starts)
b) according to the new patch, does this build got buffed, nerfed or not really touched?

The next season will be my first season in POE and i want to plan ahead asmuch as possible

I have no personal experience with the build, but:
- Wickerman got nerfed in 3.1, so that's supposedly not useful to have anymore
-> you can either shift to full solar guard spectres, 2/2 solar guard and tukohama vanguard, or 4 tukohama plus clearing with something else, like flame golems in a hungry loop with anima stone and primordial might + 2 harmony jewels so you can summon 3 of them. Supposedly that's not fast enough still, but adding skeleton mages is not very feasible if you still want to have high life and block. There might be other possibilities.
- block you get from bone offering got halved, so you should get back to 70/70 + block somehow. The possible ways are written at the start of the guide, but afaik main ones include advancing fortress + block passive nodes OR 4 reckless defence jewels + block nodes OR rumi's concoction (possibly two for uptime).

Based on that I would say the "build" got nerfed (though there were some buff parts), but the basics of it are still very usable, and necro is still powerful and viable.
