[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri
TV and wickermen both deal DoT, so flesh offering doesn't increase damage output. Its still useful for lab runs or general movement speed (which this build severely lacks)

"Still affects the speed that the TV's totems rotate. :) Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD

This build is still amazing as ever for SSF. You can beat all content with little to no investement. I'd just like to point out that the Tukohama Fortress no longer works with Spectres. So fair warning to everyone still assuming that it does.
I have some questions about this build for someone who knows more about the game mechanics. What would give me more DPS? Elemental Weakness or Despair? I already have Elemental Equilibrium, so I'm wondering if Despair would be better. I'm also curious as to how much the Spectre specific bonuses of Skullhead contribute to the survival of the Spectres? I'm wondering if I should switch toa helmet with extra gem levels. Also, what about the Abyss jewels? Will the flat damage affect the Vanguards? Should I avoid cold damage if that's the case? Last edited by Ivonbeton#0624 on Jan 8, 2018, 9:11:55 PM

If i use minion has extra fire damage, does it makes it harder for me to proc EE cause it means zombie are all atking with fire too?

" Only players and totems can proc EE |
|
" Doesnt matter. It's still so slow. SG all the way. I love Natt's build but we should admit that it's painful to clear with TV and WM now. Flame Golems are just extra costs which I rather spend on investment on SG's single target dps. |

All content COMPLETE! Thanks for guide

" "Painful"? That's a bit dramatic... I have no issue with it. |

" - Tukohama's Fortress can still kind of work, if you link in increased duration. You're losing a DPS gem though, so is it worthwhile? IMO, no - it was great when it would double your damage at the expense of your own defense, but now that it's a minimal damage increase for the same expense, I'd say no. - Tough call on the curses. EW will win if you play in a party, and other members have damage types other than DOT. Really, the difference between them is so minimal it probably doesn't matter. When I ran the numbers on them in 3.0, the difference was a few percentage points at most, and only on bosses. Mobs die so fast the curse is meaningless. - Go for the Bone Helmet, or a helm with extra gem levels - or both. Skullhead is nice while leveling, but once you get max level spectres, they are going to be so overcapped on life / resists / regen / etc that they'll rarely, if ever, get hurt. And if they DO get hurt, regen isn't going to save them anyway. The only exception to this that I've found is lab running - the bleed from traps is brutal, and every extra bit of regen there will help. I'd got a special set of jewels and a skullhead just for labs. Flat damage affects vanguards, sure, but it's so minimal it's worthless. I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to about avoiding cold damage?? Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD

"I'm not going to argue with you about that - I'm currently running SGs as well. As far as I'm concerned, this build is fantastic just because of the ease with which you can swap to a different spectre type. If you want clearspeed, we have a spectre for that. Want to melt Shaper? We've got a spectre for that, too. Honestly, if I were going to min/max this build, I'd likely run 2 SGs & 2 TVs, and spend the coin on jewels that buff both. Essentially replacing the Wikermen from the original build with SGs. ... mumbles ... actually, maybe I should do just that ... hmm ... Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
