1. Mistress of sacrifice is pretty much this entire build defense and most broken thing in entire game.
Without it - it wouldn't work. And even if it would miraculously work, you will never change MoS to ANYTHING in your ascendancy, cause it is the only one best ascendancy keystone in there.

2. No

3. Less life is bad, and neither block, nor attack speedp on advancing fortress/scourge is bad too.
The point of this build is defense. It means much more than attack.
Also, consider that additional spectre will never be more than 20% more damage (5 against 4). Is it worth this wooping drop in defense? NO!

By the way, 70% minion damage can be very well same damage as additional spectre.

We have 190% minion damage increase from ascendancy (100%+30%+4*15%) and about 105% from skill tree, about 30% from vis mortis and gloves master craft.

So, overall we have about 435%, additional spectre will be equal about 522%. But with scourge it will be 505% not even that great difference in damage, but without any consequences.

Mixing solar guards with TV or WM is bad decision, cause it still need different link, but maximum spectres isn't gonna change so you basically need 2 6-link, but their worth is basically halved with halved ammount of summonned spectres.

Good option is using solar guard as is, or supplement TV+WM with another 6-link summoner damage (skeleton mages/zombies/raging spirits/golems).

Level 91 with this build, killed both shaper and uber atziri today with 3tuko and 1 WM. I did t16s with solar guards and omg it is so much better.
Has anyone tried doing uber or shaped with SG with success?

Yeah, on youtube you can find those.
Actually, someone claimed that SG is absolutely garbage on bosses, but that's definitely not true. Even more than that, their damage is quite comparable with TV.
The problem is with slower projectiles their AI turns absolutely retarded and they mostly won't even shoot at boss if they don't stand right next to him. Also if boss don't stay still - they miss a lot.
But on bosses like kitava my SG's was actually better than TV.
It would be good to not using slower projectiles, and instead use something like controlled destruction/concentrated effect, but it's another coloring (can't play maps without GMP), so only applicable to tabula rasa, which is not good.

P.S. Ah, yeah. Also the point is, that SG benefit from blood offering, so we need to make desicions sometimes, but they still hit hard, even with bone offering.

P.P.S. Also, i find SG much more better for HC leagues than actual TV. Just because the best defense is attack.
I get it, bone offering is good, but when i go from SG to TV, i got killed several times just because they were being retarded and do whatever they want except engaging enemy. And i just standing there with bone offering and empty mana because everyone hit me.
SG killing things even before i get to them. Also, my jewels have taunt on them, so most things don't even try to hit me, and die before they even get to spectres.
It can be that i'm still low level, so i will post my final opinion after i got to shaper/guardians/elder, but i think i will stick to solar guards in the end.
Oh, and of course burning spectres immune to reflect maps, that's cool, but i can live without it.
Ah, right, almost forgot. I don't use AG yet. So yeah, boss killing will be much better, but that retarded mapping traumatized me so much, so that not gonna change my mind.

Nah, his current profile is obviously for TV+WM. SG don't benefit neither from swift affliction, and for SG there are tons of better options of blue support than minion resistance.
