I was still using a quicksilver flask, I'll be honest, I havn't bought or found a Taste of hate or Oak's as of yet in this league.

I did a shaper run with ShadowGenisys prior to him adjusting his build, and the damage now compared to before is WAY higher. Keep up with the min-maxing brother! Looking great!

All content cleared. All done deathless and most deaths were due to either me learning the fight or PoE deciding to freeze mid-fight.

The builds DPS is stupid and with Born in the Shadows you're actually quite safe placing mines. The regen & MoM add further layers of defence.

I did most of the content with a +1 tabula, only moving to a 6L carcass when rejigging things at level 95. +1 tabula was more damage.

I crafted all my non-unique gear myself so some could be better, but I did well with the dagger & shield. I also tried a shaper 6L staff for a while, but just hate leap slam. DPS was higher with that.

without much currency (~6ex) how squishy would this build be? Looks really fun, but i cant stand builds that punish you for not paying attention 100% of the time.

Kaoms roots wont work with blind? why not?

Unwavering Stance makes you unable to evade attacks, ever. So even if monsters around you are blind, they will hit you 100% of the time.

Was under the same impression except wording in this game is key and I assumed dodge meant the same Shit. Kaoms works with the acrobatics and co nodes. But right on point with blind and evade.

Also to add to this. Born in the shadows is one hell of a defensive passive. Highly recommended, but you gotta ditch kaoms.

Recently, I looted an Ascent From Flesh and after trying it out, I think it works fine with Farrul as you are phased most of the time. Unfortunately, MoM is not making full use of the ES on it. So, maybe it would be great for LL, assuming you replace Shav with an Esh's Visage or something similar.

I also wonder if it would be possible to further "tweak" phasing with Voidwalker. Though, it would cost a fair bit of ES/HP...

I have toyed around with PoB quite a bit and am rather fond of my current tree.

Here's a quick comparison with the guide's (lvl93 pastebin link)tree:


Given that my tree is at lvl94, I have added the best single node I could find (5% life) to the guide's one before taking that screenshot.

The config tab or my items shouldn't matter for the sake of this comparison.

So damage is 2.6% worse, EHP are better because of the mana gain and then I have both Acro and Phase Acro.

I don't play enough to judge if Phase Acro is worth it, but you could always trade those four points for damage (Will of Blades and Amplify), which would come out ahead of the guide's damage values then.

Note that I have 2 less AoE radius in my tree (Amplify and Blast Radius each account for 1), but I have permanent Inc AoE from my helmet, the two Long Winters and a poor man's armor (Carcass Jack) to make up for that.

Hey, I'm trying this build and have some mana issues on red maps. Can anyone take a look at my character and tell what I can upgrade? I know that I have to upgrade my weapon, but maybe someone can tell me about other things. Currently sitting on about 18k DPS in h/o with Hatred, seems kinda low; 4.6k life and 1.6k mana. I have about 5 exalts to spend on upgrades.

I bought a decent loreweave with 80% max resist and manages to 6L it myself (first self made 6L ever). I'm having trouble rolling it 5B1G but made it 6B now. What would you advise? Put in a crit mp gem, some other blue gem or keep rolling until I get 5B1G? It seems easy to get 5B1R but there aren't really good red gems to put in as 6th. Not sure what to do :S
