Content Update 2.6.0 Balance Changes

Daggers now have a lower implicit value. This will also apply to already-existing dagger implicits. Previously daggers granted 40%, 60% or 80% increased critical chance. These values have been changed to 30%, 40% and 50%.

So youve nerffed basically everything about builds. AoE COULD be a good buff, depending on how badly they raped it on tree, but vaal discipline nerf? Is that necessary? SO youve basically turned a 1000 es flat boost into a energy sheild potion at the cost of a huge amount of soul requirement.

And now threshold jewels getting a max limit, so how does this work with rolling flames jewel? Are they gonna be limited to 1 as well, effectively making fireball completely useless again? Should i add it to the list of most useless skills right there with Frost wall, vaal glacial hammer and elemental hit?

And the crit dagger nerf, will there be more crit in the tree to make up for the potentially 60% crit loss on kris's? There are several crit builds that were NOT assassin that relied on this extra crit.

I sincerely hope that theres alot of good changes because the current dev manifest looks to be nearly a global nerf.


And while im ranting. Fix your fucking frost wall mechanics, vaal glacial hammer and frostwall are literally useless, monsters walk past or through them and they do literally nothing for benifiet now that projectiles seem to Phase right through them.

With the recent changes to Wild Strike, can it finally become a quest reward for the duelist? The Duelist has close the best, if not the best, positioning on the skill tree for physical damage in the game. It scales full physical conversion attacks very well and the gem is innately a dex/str hybrid gem. Everything about wild strike just seems to fit.
Fun news here. Like the way it could enable variety of builds.

They should have made a new gem call Fire to lightning and lets people choose the element they want to play
