Correct, it's to further scale our strength that is applied to our mage skeletons via Iron Will support after the baron :)

Hey Ghazzy, since we have abyss jewels this league for dps, I'm thinking the baron isn't the endgame item anymore.
I crafted a half-decent bone helmet, 100 life and decent res, got 37% increased minion damage on it. Seems to be a damage up, if I replace iron will in my skelly links. Do you think I should go for it? Furthermore, what would I replace Iron will with? Path of Building says added chaos damage will do the trick, being the strongest choice, so the links would be
Skelly-Spell Echo-Pierce-GMP-Minion damage-Added Chaos
What do you think about all this? And how about the loss of +2 minion gems in my AG/Zombie link, that's a looot of tankyness gone from them, worth it? Should I instead craft a bone helmet with +1 or +2 minion gems?

Baron functions very well, or you skip Iron Will approach and stack a load of abyssal jewels with the Enthroned belt to further augment them :) Both ways works very fine!

Added Chaos with the new buffs is a solid replacement, aye!

The +2 is honestly w/e since it's just bonus stats for our meatshields.

Some thoughts; should we be using elemental focus over controlled until enlighten 3?

What do you think of MoM? I run a CoH setup with arc vs using blasphemy, so I feel like we get enough mana at 50% unreserved to make it work.

I am 95% sure (unless I'm blind) that we get 10 mages w/ two jewels now, so I pathed over to the skeleton to the right of the witch tree and down to Necro Aegis instead of via Foresight.

The skeletons are super fun, and using Brightbeak was a great idea. With one From Dust jewel, you can just dash-cast-dash-cast to clear entire screens at once. Scourge will be great if/when I decide to buy it but the 'beak gets the job done for now. Great guide!

This is a very interesting question, I've never thought of EF combined with Anger, does it even work? If so I'd need to verify & run some tests. Though I doubt you want to use it as it increases the ammount of mana it reserves.

The gems are listed in order of efficiency no matter the auras you use. :)

I think a MoM version is absolutely solid if you go with TVs though SGs actually do benefit from auras, the choice is yours!

Using 10 skeletons causes an issue making you summon 1 melee skeleton which means you only effectively have 9 mages after the first 10 skellies have been summoned. It's completely retarded design imo but that's the reason we stick to 9, so we ALWAYS summon mages.

Quick explanation:

With 10 skellies & 2 Dead Reckoning the game says you can have 10 skellies on the field and 10 of those can be mages.
Though when you summon the 11th the game will then say: "Hey you already have 10 mages, so this ones gota be a melee" then once summoned the game tells you: "wtf man, you got 10 skellies on the field, here, let me replace your oldest" which then replaces your oldest MAGE skellie with a MELEE one. This then continues and will then effectively only have 9-10 mages on the field as every now and then you'll replace a mage with a melee.

But Path of Building and your Forum Guide have a few inconsistencies it seems.

In PoB you use GMP instead of LMP and Controlled Destruction instead of Iron will for the 6th link on your Skeleton Setup..

In the "Utility" Link in PoB you use Desecrate instead of Vaal Lightning Trap like mentioned in the Forum Guide.

And i have no Clue where to put my Desecrate Gem, since all the Slots are filled and i havent found any good Unset Rings until now.

EDIT: Ok, just socketed the Desecrate in my 2nd Weapon Set. Kinda bad solution, cause every switch turns off my Auras....

Glad you like it!

Remove VLT for Desecrate till you get a VLT. I'll make sure to fix the PoB link as well, I was tweaking around different approaches before posting it. Must have missed the main setup link change before posting!
