GhazzyTV - Beginner's Build: Lich Queen Skeleton Summoner [AWAKENER FARMABLE]

Quick Note:

Iron Will is suppose to be there, I made sure to update the guide accordingly. We are using the Baron helmet for this purpose :)

Hey Ghazzy I just crafted a godly 6L astral plate and I want to use it but its 5 off colors to craft, is there any alternative gems you can think of that might still be beneficial to skeleton mages or should I just attempt to color it .

You could play around with PoB with the support gems but I would strongly recommend pushing for those 5 off-colors if you can afford it.

So if I have Baron + Iron Will, should I use Brawn jewels or abyss jewels with flat ele dmg? Is worth it for this build?

If you use a non-rare chest you have to change around gear/tree to make sure you reach the max skelly count to be 9. If you do, then a +1 chest piece is absolutely optimal :)


Regarding Baron + Iron Will, it seems as the easiest & best way to get high DMG output is to follow the guide for this. However, if you change your gearing to allowing the Enthroned belt whilst still maintaining resistance caps as well as proper life then going heavy on Abyssal Jewels can be equally good if not better, depending on the quality of the gems. This route will cost you more currency and give you less defensive stats. Though, it will allow you to remove Baron and use a shaper/elder helmet for a better linked boss kill setup with your TV's (extra links for them in the helmet so to say).

I'm currently playing this specific build on stream and will see if I can go with the Abyssal approach in hardcore, it really depends on currency and what the available gear is on poe.trade, the Baron route will always be available and is easier to obtain though.

Really like the build, Thank You !! I have played necro a few times before. My Spectre's seem to die thou every boss fight. They are good the rest of the time. Just wondering if i missed something to cause this.

Found my problem, I grab a low lvl Desecrate outta my stash like a moron haha. lvl 50 spectre splatter. had the flu this week not on my best : D

Haha, yeah not keeping track of Desecrate/Area LvL/Raise Spectre can be a bit*h!

Like others, having a lot of fun with the build. Ghazzy thanks for posting an updated video. A couple of questions:

- Instead of heading down to get the life nodes around Bloodless, I took the nodes around Purity of Flesh. Seems like a small difference for a bump in Chaos Resistance, is this worth the trade off?

- Currently I am running a stone golem in my army, but have recently been thinking of switching to a flame golem thoughts on either of these?


I think my next step on the tree will be to hit the jewel just north of Necromantic Aegis unless there is a better plan.
