I have vaal mask with property : "Socketed gems are supported by level 18 Concentrated effect" and my linked gems are "Purity of fire, "Anger", "Blood and send", "Enlighten", and for some reason mana reservation for "Purity of fire" is remaining 45% and it affect only "Purity of fire", "Anger" and "Blood and send" mana reservation calculating properly.
So, the dodge cap is 75%. raider gives 30% more dodge however, that does not multiply the value of dodge in the defense tab. Is the 30% more simply a multiplier like other more multipliers and it just doesn't show up or is it a different mechanic entirely?

Assuming your Enlighten Support is level 3, 45% is the proper reservation for a 35% aura (Purity of Fire) with a 140% mana multiplier (Concentrated Effect Support) and a 92% mana multiplier (Enlighten Support). What were you expecting? In any case, Concentrated Effect is a very bad choice to support auras, since it increases the mana reservation and reduces the area of effect without actually increasing the aura effect (it only increases area damage).

Avatar of the Chase (the Raider passive in question) doesn't give more Dodge chance, it gives more Evade chance. Evasion and Dodge are two separate mechanics.

How does the DPS calculation work for spectral throw given the update to the skill this league?

Game says that my DPS right now is calculated at 8.5K. Does the game assume that's the damage I'm doing given 1 hit on a given target per throw per weapon? I ask because the skill averages to 2 or more hits per target per projectile, so is it reasonable to assume a higher DPS than what's calculated?

I really like the idea of using an Animated Guardian as a defense booster, rather than just throwing on Leer Cast and Dying Breath like 95% of AGs out there, or risking an expensive item like Kingmaker. Consider equipping it with Meginord's Vise and Alberon's Warpath for 800+ Strength, and maybe an Elder body armor with + Strength and % Increased Strength.

My next idea is give an AG the following items
Mask of the Tribunal's - for the STR scaling aura
Alberon's Warpath - as you suggested
Meginord's Vise - as you suggested
The Anticipation - perma-intimidate on block
a cheap iron fortress - ~100 raw str + increased block chance per STR

Should be able to scale to around 1000 str on AG like this giving +60% global defenses from mask & +20% block (for a total of 50%) from fortress to trigger perma-intimidate

Perhaps a Doon Cuebiyari to round out it out

I don't see why any of that wouldn't work, do you?

Huamei Quiver bags can not change the color of the slot on the workbench after decaying with Valjewels. It needs to be repaired.

Iron Fortress and The Anticipation seem like solid choices. My only reservation is that The Anticipation will run you around 70c. I've lost too many Animated Guardians to stuff like Abaxoth, the Acid Caverns bosses, the Vortex slams of the Shaper midbosses, and similar things to want to risk expensive items on them. The only way to dismiss an AG is to unsocket the gem or unequip the item it's in; Convocation only pulls it back for a second or so. But if you want to take the risk, it should work well.

I'm not sure what Doon Cuebiyari would contribute other than relatively modest Strength and damage boosts, which wouldn't have much impact. I'd suggest Sign of the Sin Eater, which makes you and your minions effectively immune to elemental ailments (and the AG should have enough Life to laugh off the ignites and shocks).

I can now confirm that STR on AG can give Mask of the Tribunal's scaling aura, i am getting the 60% def off 1k+ STR from him

The gear i ended up getting:
enfeeble corrupt Meginord's Vise
Mask of the Tribunal
iron fortress
Alberon's Warpath

all togeather i am in the AG gear around 70c (mostly the curse gloves) and my AG has over 80k HP (not counting my Spirit offerings extra ES). It basically doesn't take damage, so i figured 70c was a reasonable risk for the benefits

didnt realize Anticipation was 60c+ when i was theory crafting this, went with Sentari's Answer instead for the curse on block - not the most dependable but it helps

Doon was just cheap STR with a lil dmg perk that made it better than a basic rare str weap, nothing special. I didnt think of Sign of the sin eater, might have to grab that

all together i am very happy with my new AG he gives me:
~600 ish ES
Enfeeble curse very reliably
temp chains or punishment unreliably
& with sin eater ailment immunity

+ He doesnt look as dumb as the standard leercast & breath AG lol

Hello,

I got stuck on quest "Defeat the Elder's four Guardians while the Elder occupies a Red Map".

One red map is being occupieded by Elder and i done all 4 guardians and my quest didint finish, what i did wrong? Does elder need to occupie 5 red maps? I assume no bcs its saying "while the Elder occupies A RED map", but i might be wrong. What should I do? Or how I should do the quest correctly?
