Cyclone?! WHY?? It was not OP. Cyclone wasn't even popular. But it's melee skill. The main idea was in these weak, but multiple attacks. Blender build gets more and more nerfs. My only lovely build(

*sigh* you know this is intended so people accualy use cleave for dual wield instead of melee splash dualstrike and use dualstrike for single targets ? add some variety and creatviity to game ?

... ah, thanks for info. Maybe ggg makes then some prepared builds for pve too, so that the players know, what skills they allowed to combine... ohh and wait: you cant use cleave with daggers and claws but with dualstrike... * varitey & understanding of game mechanics..hust*

While my play style is very laid back in comparison to most, I did want to say I'm glad your still making this game in YOUR image. While i understand the need to 'listen to the community' I am glad to see your sticking to your own ideals. As I main a witch I sort of read this as a 'let's see if you can still fall asleep walking through a 77 map with your minions' which I say to you 'Challenge Accepted' :)

Thanks again for such a great game and even though I don't 'agree' with everything you do. If I don't like something, I'm not going to whine about it. I'm going to find something I do like :)

Keep up the work and I look forward to upgrading to the Master pack in Late Jan/Early Feb <3

Not correct! Your increased critical damage gem ..... you loose like 60% inc.crit multi on this. You loose only 5% crit chance in the tree though, with most bow builds...



I don´t mind the new tree so much (though will there ever be a "finished" tree? Or is changing the tree every couple of month the essence of POE? dind't figure that one out yet ^^) It has positive sides to get a new tree every once in a while, but it always has the slight touch of "unfinished product"

Imho not good: too many nerfs and too few buffs to counter it seems. Not sure if this will lead to more balance... Would rather enjoy to see more variety in the possible powerfull builds - not after every league see all those builds that worked well be ruined, or at least quite many of them.

Like the effort GGG puts into balancing the game and continuously developing... really admire it. Just the balancing feels often a bit overdone, like done with a hammer. But crying about a patch makes no sense... i guess it will feel allright as usual once you start the new league. But standart league will feel more crappy, as usual, after every new patch. Its just getting more and more of a twisted garbage pool for legacy items and gear for builds that don´t exist anymore.


Looking forward to the new challenges that these changes provide!
Atziri's Acuity: The modifier that makes leech apply instantly on critical strikes now has it apply instantly at 60% effectiveness. Existing versions of this item are affected by this change.

Really, not only are the shield nodes in the tree nerfed to the ground, you actually nerf the shields as well?
You realize that there's only a total 37% block chance with shields in the tree now(not counting the sword node), right?
And no functioning build, even one with no damage, could take them all. And even if you do take all the nodes, you'd need a shield with extra block chance and Bringer of Rain, The Anvil or Rumi's Concoction to reach max block.
I rarely critize GGG(can't actually think of a time I have atm) but this seems pretty poorly done. If you didn't want the players to be able to reach 75% just lower the threshold, this just feels stupid.


The last line sounds like a really intelligent way to nerf block without massively killing it across the tree and items. What's the point of getting (or trying to get) maxblock now that it'd require every possible point around the tree for it? All the while foregoing any life/damage/etc nodes you might need...it's impossible and ridiculous when you think about it.

Nice patch, but why no nerf flameblast and burning build they need a nerf aswell :s+

Most of nerf was requiered, lost of things was really to strong
