But yeah. its kindof silly to count a corrupted darkray giving +2 frenzy charges to justify slaughter line being better. then giving the onslaught raider just some random life boots.


While it does make sense to argue, maximizing frenzy to full effect if you go slaughter, you will be gearing for it.
but then we need to discuss what is the appropriate way to maximize onslaught.

skill effect, wont effect it when, gained via flask or 3k on kill. flask effect aught to via flask.(I mean to test this on my pathfinder soon. I can't tell at only 5%.)
But how does this work with onslaughts 50%? Alchemists?
20/20 as/ms. 25% effect+50% for 35/35?


I didn't give them some random life boots. A frenzy raider will take darkray vectors. I don't see any reason not to. And the onslaught raider will have what else in place of them? Probaby life/MS/resist boots. Is this not the only difference between the two raiders? If there are other differences, then they should be factored in.
lol... i came back to this game after an about 1 1/2 year absence. Was looking for a build, saw this one, and went for it. Running well so far.. :)

Then I heard about lootfilters.. searched for one, that met my requirements.. played a while witzh it, and thought it´s an amazing thing.

Has anyone considered running "Sharp and Venomous" with
? I ran with the gloves in Talisman before getting Maligaros and I thought they were pretty decent and obviously its easy to keep max frenzy charges even with the reduction from the gloves.

Specifically, you get life, increased attack speed, accuracy and anything that does not get one shot will have 40% increased chance to get crit from Sharp and Venomous.

Really nice guide, recently started a ranger(lvl45) on HC Ascendancy league and I'm using this as a guideline.

I've got two question about auras.

Is it viable to use Herald of Ice + COH + AM with Reduced Mana + Hatred + Grace + Arctic Armor, or is too much? I don't even know if my mana will allow that. I've got the Charisma cluster.

Does Herald of Ice and COH/AM have to be linked with Hatred for best outcome?

Edit: Just noticed that Reduced mana doesn't effect reserved mana anymore, so don't mind queston one.

Is it any good to run both Herald of Ice and Herald of Ash with Hatred? Or should I use Ice, Hatred and Arctic Armour?

Hi NeverSink, first of all great job with the build, I love it. I have to ask some questions. I am level 50 in standard Perandus league for your information.

1) I skipped 1 or 2 frenzy nodes and I cannot refund them easily just now, so I'd like to know if 5-7 frenzy charges are enough for a player that aims to level 80-85 with no big claims. Also, I'd like to run Blood Rage, as a sc player I don't care too much about the negative effects of the skill.

2) Where the "levelling" zone ends? I'm currently at a2 Cruel and I want to get an Infractem+Thief's Torment for speeding up my path to end of Merciless, and replace them when I start mapping a bit more seriosuly later on.

1, lot of people talk about Maligaro is not anymore worth in endgame because of crit nerf ...

what a re endgame posibilities now if we decide not to play with maligaro gloves ?



2. can u explain pls how Windreaper works ? i dont understand how that bow is good ...and SKill treee dont work ...



my ranger have 18k dps with lion glare on tornado ... wheni swap to Windreaper my dmg go to 7k ....

Windripper and a Phys bow setup are two completely different setups. It is like saying my dps with Lioneye's Glare is 18k but when I switch to fireball it is 2k.

Windripper scales purely of elemental damage. Lioneye's Glare scales purely of physical damage.

I could go into detail but try to read up on poe wiki instead.

Guys, could somebody tell me which enchantments on my boots would be good? I'm a Lightning Arrow Ranger. Currently, I've got 0.4% life and mana leech when I've killed recently. Good enough? Or should I rerun the lab to get a better enchantment? If so, which one? And, does it matter if I run Normal or Cruel when enchanting my boots?
