I can't figure out how to deal with physical reflect in maps. I've switched over to PTL with WED but still die a lot. I'm doing 26k dps and have 1.4% physical life leech. I snagged vaal pact and also have 5 endurance charges. Do I need Vitality Void as well? Confused and frustrated.

A couple ways to deal with phys reflect:

- CWDT + IC + ID (though that only works on the first hit, and has a believe a 3 sec cooldown)
- Switch to ele damage bow such as windripper in offhand
- Switch to another attack that completely converts phys to ele damage. Such as Lightning arrow combined with Phys-to-Lightning gem.
- Insert life leech gem in 6th slot, and use Vaal Pact. The high leech from the Gem + Vaal Pact combined with your relative high ele damage will largely offset the reflect damage.
- High evasion / Arrow Dancing help to mitigate some of the reflect, but not nearly as much as Ondar's Guile did.

Thank you sir. Finally cleared a phys reflect map without dying. The key to it for me was to switch out WED for LL on TS and to have Arrow Dancing. Vaal Pact was not required in my case. I guess arrow dancing gives 40% chance to evade my reflected shots which hadn't occurred to me. It's not ideal since I take a huge dps hit but it's better than where I was at before.

CWDT-IC-ID how much should you level thees gems? Should you max them?

ID can be max lvl, since it is not affected by the level restriction from CWDT.
Bit of personal preference on how high you want to lvl CWDT. I use a lvl 13 one, and corresponding IC.
Great Guide ! Started this build on the Warbands league ... progressing decently ;)

I have two questions:

1. How good is Vaal Pact for this build on the temporary league ?
2. Would you preffer a Broadhead Arrow or spike-point quiver ? I snagged a decent broadhead that is why iam asking

This build gained so much damage in 2.0 it's bloody scary. Defensive tree with Hatred/HOA/Ice golem has me on 30+k unbuffed... 60+k with bloodrage, full power/frenzy charges and atziri flask. Even my curse on hit setup has 15+k dps.
I'm considering giving up Hatred and going with Grace, because reflect hurts like hell. It's still 23+k dps without Hatred, pretty decent imho.

My gear for reference (still using Drillneck in the absence of better quiver):

I must be doing something wrong then, besides not having a 6L. Because I do 33k with 5 frenzy charges. If I'm using LMP instead of faster attacks(5L) I only do 24k with 5 frenzy charges. I'm also using iceshot instead of tornado.
Ok, I updated to your gems and I'm now doing 30k on iceshot(withLMP) and 40k on frenzy. Still not close to you though.

btw ill help Oak in cruel, 16% phys seems a lot
It's quite difficult leveling while following this build. I'm using lightning arrow + poison arrow instead of tornado shot because lightning arrow simply seems to do more damage. I'm playing warband, and since it's non-HC I followed the "non-defensive" tree. I just noticed there are no resistance nodes at all, and only one INT node. Since I won't be able to buy any proper gear until I hit like level 60ish, this journey from 40-60 is getting really painful with low resists. Expecting stuff with good resists, or good stuff in general, to drop is like expecting to win the lottery tomorrow. I'm also having tremendous difficulty increasing INT, barely able to meet the requirement for some blue gems. Also because it's a new league everything is like 2-3x more expensive.

I also play on warband and im instakilling everything with tornado shot while leveling. The only thing I bought was a death's harp for 1chaos and I use it from lvl 32 to 62 so far... Just grabbed 1 +30INT node because I also had issues but other than that you shouldn't have any problems.

As for Rat's Nest. 2ex is only for the top rolled ones. Message me ingame @ 'Fritso_Archer', and I'll give you one for free that I have laying around.

Thanks for the free gear: gotta love that! Life is much better now that I have a Harbinger's. I also want to quote a PM from Altansar (hope I don't get in trouble for it), just because it has so much good info in it, some of which I kind of knew but which hadn't fully sunk in.

Your dps on tornado shot is probably quite low because this build relies almost entirely on having a high physical base (that you then add a percentage of with hatred/herald of ash). And your bow is pretty bad - sry! A decent bow should have +X% increased physical damage as one of the mods, and in fact there's an easy way to get such a bow for leveling.

Simply trade a decimation or harbinger of any rarity to any vendor with a rare rustic sash (the higher level the better) and one blacksmith's whetstone, and it'll come back as a blue harbinger with only one mod: X% increased physical damage. Usually this will be 70-80%. Then you craft the flat Y-Z physical damage on top, and you have a decent workhorse that should get you further.

The other thing to note is that all unique quivers save Drillneck are bad for this build. A decent rare quiver with any combination of increased global crit chance/multiplier, flat physical damage or attack speed will likely be as good or better for you. Look out for spike-point quivers especially since the extra implicit crit chance tends to help.

Another thing: don't try buying t2 uniques off trade chat: they're horribly overpriced. The website poe.trade is much better - I got rat's nest, maligaro's gloves and atziri's step for 15 chaos each, and the rolls were all decently high.

Poachers is no good because you cant maintain frenzy charges with it on bosses when the dps matters the most. I did hatred + herald of ice + curse on hit + assassins mark so you can be lazy and keep your 3-4 power charges. Then I'm use frenzy and blood rage to maintain frenzy charges. I lost only a bit of dps to herald of ash but tbh with all the extra damage plus frenzy damage i don't even notice it. Using manual ec has made the build go from lazy 2 buttons to around 5 actively. What are people doing for leech? I'm finding it very lacking on bosses i might even switch from ts to split or ice shot so i can get life leech in there also.
Also if you have the space split arrow cull iir iiq fits in well for trash clearing lower maps/finishing bosses, you really see a lot more uniques and currency this way.

What you are saying about maintain Frenzy on CoH don't make any sense, if you can't maintain the frenzy on CoH you won't maintain the power charges too. But at least the frenzy can be charged by an skill and power charges don't.

Because the frenzy and blood rage are much more dps and leech from blood rage, then the power charges. both are nice but frenzy and blood rage is the better of the pair when you have 5-7 charges stacked vs 3 power. I dont think pcoc in frenzy set up is worth it, frenzy is a solid single target dps so pcoc vs a better dps adding gem isnt worth it imo. You want to drop the boss asap not just build charges on him. Normally you'll proc power charges on coh from extra ads too, but you should support frenzy before power charges.
