PvP Damage Tool TIP

Since GGG is nerfing pvp damage without describing it on the gem such as RF and GH, I think to be more accurate and aware of our real pvp damage we need a second tooltip describing dps or maybe change the tool tip while in a PvP instance so people can get an accurate readout.

I did alot of testing with GH since the nerf and was confused at how bad GH was, with only 90 less dps after the patch it didnt dawn on me until now. We cant even see what our realistic pvp damage is with these builds because the damage nerf is integrated into the damage calculation for pvp. this is a problem.

Yeah, knowing the damage formula for PvP is critical information. A lot of the skills seem to have different and arbitrary scaling (we found unlinked whirling did almost as much as a linked heavy strike, 80% effectiveness vs 150%). Hard to evaluate anything accurately when it all has this second, hidden scaling value.

yeah also had normal attack hit just as hard as a 6linked heavy strike

why isnt there a list for valuable posts in pvp? Nothing is stickied and theres NO organization. How are we suppose to give valuable feedback without it constantly getting lost. I am reserving my need to explode about this because I really want to work it out and get these forums fixed GGG. You are past due for some pvp feedback love. Please start a thread so we can list and organize things, I will moderate it if you want or we could have many other dedicated players do it. There is many important suggestions constantly being lost in the sands of slow moving time with pvp development.

Tell us the goddamn pvp formula ffs, why do you hide it from players?
