I was looking through the new Breach League Uniques, and was wondering your thoughts on the "The Surrender, Ezomyte Tower Shield" Unique as an alternative to Aegis Aurora.
The stats on the released image shows the following: Chance to Block: 24% Armour 454 Requires Level 64, 159 STR Grants level 30 Reckoning Skill 163% Increased Armour +79 to Maximum Life Recover 250 Life when you Block +1500 Armour if you've Blocked recently You lose out on the various elemental damage/resistance effects and anything having to do with ES, but I was wondering if the level 30 Reckoning was worth it enough to consider opening up that skill gem slot for something like Vigilant Strike if someone needed more Fortify duration, or replace the Fortify on Leap Slam for a Stun Support if you no longer need the Fortify. I don't have any numbers/testing to show for this, I'm just theorycrafting here, and would love your opinion on it! | |
" The shield is extremely powerful for block builds like this one, but not because of the lvl 30 reckoning, but because of the 250 life recover on block. Why does your skill tree leveling template and skill tree for all skills template look so different?

I did an Assassin BF but with breaches in maps mainly, my desire to do a tank increased :p.
I was thinking to do a Juggernaut w/ block as a main part of the defense. Seems like this build is nice for that. I see you're referencing several times elemental damages. It doesn't concern Earthquake right ? Or do you consider it's worth to boost this due to Added Fire Damage & Hatred ? I'm not yet fixed about using Ice crash or Earthquake. I always liked to chill/freeze. I did an ice crash character when the skill was released and enjoyed it. About the movement skill, leap slam without faster attack seems a bit unreliable. Wouldn't shield charge be way better ? And since it's our fortify applier, better to be fast. I assume a Rumi's Concoction flask is also mandatory to get max block. I have 75+ res. I thinking of changing the gloves for: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Veruso%27s_Battering_Rams this build cannot be stunned so one of this gloves with max roll on atk speed and armor would be great, maybe corrupted with +1 to socketed gems.
