The snake was a great way to get experience. You should have found a way to keep this particular mechanic in place but with a drastically reduced loot drop. You guys dropped the ball on this. It was a blessing in disguise that just needed tweaking. People had fun building it.


Unless I am misunderstanding they clearly state that room that should destabilize but can't will be reduced to paths - so they still exist, meaning there should still be plenty of monsters for XP, if thats your concern (we know it isn't, really, you want 45 divine temples)

Thank god, Snaking was the most broken thing to ever exist in PoE2 so far. Nothing should print 100 divs a run early league. That was beyond nuts.

Also it's nice that temples will be locked to the map for level.

All the temple addicts will be calling 0.5.0 a poverty league though, they blew up their dopamine receptors with the 100 mirrors they printed.

I could give a damn about drops. I usually do well enough trading.

No. I genuinely enjoyed having a semi reasonable way to get to level 100 without spending 30 maps to get a single 1% of experience at level 97/98.

hopefully rooms can still be a smooth process to run a temple, the snake was nice to go from one room to the next w/o backtracking. Hope the new changes dont make it a giant grid of non-connecting rooms where we spend 90 minutes backtracking thru/around
