I don't mind that it is delayed as long as we get a date to plan around.
Preferably, they could have communicated this a bit better since they surely have known about it for a while.

What I worry about is the reason for the delay.
If they delay it to be able to do proper testing and release something fairly polished, I'm all for it.
If they delay it because the content isn't done and they will have to rush it without polishing, then I'm scared.

Performance last patch was truly horrible and the freezing on loading screens still isn't resolved.
If it is the same this season, I'm not sure I can play. Restarting the game every time you change location just sucks all the fun out if.

Endgame revamp again? almost a year and a half later and you guys still haven't gotten it right yet? What are your hopes on this revamp?

Once again, you've broken the players' trust. Is this what you call a four-month league cycle? Where are the promises you made? The guarantee that there would never be delays? So, May 29th also counts as May, doesn’t it?

I deeply regret investing my time and energy into this game—it hardly feels worth it anymore. The arrogance of GGG is utterly off-putting. As an old Chinese saying goes, "Those without credibility cannot stand," and I believe this holds true everywhere in the world. I won’t believe another word from GGG—it’s all lies. If you can’t deliver on something, why make promises in the first place?

I love Path of Exile, but experience has taught me that games constantly delayed tend to end up poorly made. And honestly, I’ve lost all trust in GGG. Thanks for curing my addiction to POE2, though—I guess it’s time to say goodbye.

They literally said they will be announcing 0.5 near the end of April, not that it was coming out at the end of April.

"Towards the end of April we will be announcing our full plans for the 0.5.0 update including all the changes we will be making to the endgame as well as the new league! It’s a pretty huge update, so stay tuned."

Personally, I think this is the right decision to not release 0.5 at the same time as Diablo 4 is releasing their Lord of Hatred expansion. May 29th gives a full month for people to play the new expansion. If it is a successful expansion, then there needs to be time in between the two launches. They are supposedly doing a massive overhaul to the game, which is sure to bring a bunch of players back (and maybe some new ones too). I won't be playing it at launch as it is not in my budget, plus I have been disappointed with Blizzard's handling of Diablo 4. I have no problem waiting for a sale.

Lastly, I don't understand why people are complaining about GGG. I respect the developers for taking their time to launch content and not rush it out half-baked. The game is literally in development, we have access to a game that we are watching come to life and we have the opportunity to share our feedback about it. That does not give people the right to attack the developers, the staff, nor other players. If you have criticisms, figure out a way to say it constructively or else you may not be taken seriously. There have been plenty of ideas implemented into the game already from suggestions and ideas posted in the forums.

Let's help make this the best ARPG of all time!!!

PS, I would be in absolute heaven if I was able to play with Keyboard + Mouse on Xbox. Diablo 4 has it and plenty of other games do too. It is time! :)
