Congrats on the new communications role. Nothing like getting thrown in with the sharks on day 3!

You probably have to run this up the chain although I've found that in communicating issues with customers there is a fine line between too much info and too little info. This communication from GGG definitely falls into the latter. LOL

It's a tough line to walk although it's a balance between "hope" and "reality". The reality of this communication from GGG (as an organization) was mainly reality (i.e. - delay everyone!). The hope given was "cooking".

Hope is lacking severely and, if it would have been worded appropriately, could have been met with much more goodwill than what is currently being experienced.

Customers understand delays...they may not care...but they understand. The trick is getting them to care enough to smooth out the bumpy road until product can be delivered in the short term while not damaging the long term relationship.

Anyway, congrats on the new gig! I'm sure it's a dream come true.

I'll assume you don't have any capacity issues. Is the reason you chose May 30th for the new league just to dodge the Diablo 4 DLC?
Here's the thing: if you launched between May 7th and May 15th, nobody on this earth would be playing that garbage game Diablo 4. By delaying the league, you're just breaking our hearts and forcing us to play D4 to kill time. But we don't want to play D4! It's not a true ARPG, it's absolute garbage.
If possible, please start the season early—one week after the livestream, around May 15th.
Brothers, copy and paste my post and bump it up! Just like how the Level 3 Temple room needs a lock to open, GGG will eventually open the gates early for us.

Towards the end of April we will be announcing our full plans for the 0.5.0 update including all the changes we will be making to the endgame as well as the new league! It’s a pretty huge update, so stay tuned.

You can consider my normal leagues mtx budget already spent on other games to occupy my time over the dealy. I might have jumped back into PoE 2 if the economy wasn't such a joke. Seriously the league your extending was probably the worst designed gaming experience I've had in a generation.

There's no league delay, it's just GGG correcting the schedule since they rushed 0.4's release by nearly three weeks.
