New breach Going core is very very bad.

So were you guys just constantly failing the the hive encounters or something?
The walls go away after you successfully defend Ailith. I cannot for the life of me figure out what the complaint even is here. Last edited by ARealLifeCaribbeanPirate#2605 on Feb 19, 2026, 9:25:13 AM

" The complaint is that it takes too long to burn the walls to get ready for the encounter. Starting it with a bunch of walls still up feels bad and clunky and mobs get stuck behind them so it takes forever for things to get to you to even progress the waves, and then you just get less loot too cus you killed less mobs. There should have just been a "burn all walls in map" button just like how there's a skip button to instantly start a blight encounter and skip button to stop a delirium encounter. Breach 2.0 is just missing essential QOL, that's why it feels so bad. I don't want to spend so long walking around and burning all the walls, so I'm going to block the league mechanic instead lmao Lifelong NEET, loud and proud about it.

" No one is failing the encounters, they are more or less impossible to fail. For me, it's all about the visual clutter and intrusion. That, and after your 366th encounter, they become so damn boring that you just want to skip them... Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" Very much like lab spikes and lab door traps, breach walls do not offer any advantage or any challenge. They exist purely and explicitly to get in the way. This is also more true for breach walls because there are very rare exceptions in character builds that might eventually get in trouble standing around in spike mazes, where as breach walls are literally only there to be in the way. I hate it, and I am dying on this hill if it wasn't clear from quoting Les Misérables. The only positive thing I can possibly say about breach walls is I guess they don't kill ghosts that get stuck in them like spike traps do, I guess...but that is at least almost as funny as it is annoying. |
