🌟 Path of Exile: Comprehensive QoL, Balance & Endgame Improvement Proposal

A lot of well thought out ideas.
I can't tell you how frustrating the controller player experience is in terms of UI or even using skills/lack of customization so any attention that can be put on that is helpful. Things like buffs blocking the map, being unable to loot as fast as PC making FFA and Short Alloc basically inaccessible, etc. Then there's random things like not being able to change music in a hideout. So I feel like they continually keep shafting controller players lol Last edited by TheVoyant#3002 on Dec 2, 2025, 5:05:42 AM

" What do you think about the Alternative Solution: Vacuum Loot Clustering? Would it be good solution for controller players? I can add something at the end like: A Nice Side Benefit for Console/Controller Players- For players using a controller, clustered items is incredibly frustrating and slow. This change is a huge QoL boost for them, as it eliminates the need for repeated, frustrating micro-clicks, making the looting process much quicker and less painful in high-density areas. 🌟 The very first POE lootfilter

+1 to some of this.
I don't think I necessarily agree with all of it but the UI highlighting stuff and the auto-pickup of similar entities is 100% necessary to save my index finger from arthiritis due to Harbinger. I posted something similar around the UI elements being customisable, I feel like if GGG are smart they code these things to share the same general class and this way they can be managed by a single menu and when adding new content it's not as much of a ballache to add the same QoL going forwards. " That's a great point about the shared class coding! It definitely sounds like the most efficient way for GGG to handle QoL additions, especially the auto-pickup features. Index finger health is critical! 🌟 The very first POE lootfilter

Hello, I'd like to also chime in with three (3) personal-health QoL request for people who are at risk of hand and arm conditions from using computers too much.
I've recently bought a vertical mouse to stop myself from having finger pain when playing path of exile, and while it has alleviated it its still somewhat uncomfortable to play due to the insane amount of clicking to do in combat, in menus and looting. Because of the time and volume of play I was doing before, I would need to drastically cut down my playtime to let my hands heal. To help with this... 1. I would like to propose that many standout (perhaps not-basic-currency) currencies and items be automatically added to your stash if affinity is enabled in at least one of your tabs, unless there is no room for the item. Currently, if you use the Refiner's Bargain Settlers keystone on the Atlas Tree, Harvest is converted from lifeforce to a random crop, but this random crop automatically is sent to Kingsmarch (because it has no item associated), but Lifeforce does not and it must be picked up manually. This is significant because any item requires at least 2 clicks per "type" of item to move to your stash, and when you have inventories of 40+ slots of items that need to be clicked twice to be put in the stash, saving up 10-15 *2 clicks every time is a big chunk of reduced strain. I would like to personally see this be implemented for: - Lifeforce - Rogue Markers - Essences - Resonators - Simulacrum Splinters - Scarabs - Invitations that Drop instead of being given by Kirac or Masters - Recurrent Quest Items (Unique Heist Contracts, Atzoatl Door Stones etc.) - Blight Oils - Stacked Decks And so on. This would help insanely much with clicking, even if relegated to items that 90% of people "always pick up" even if they are not used (I understand just dumping basic currency on kill into your tab has ramifications for softcore and SSF) 2. Please add a handful of crafting mechanics or recipes that perform repeated actions "at a loss", to prevent insane clicking. Examples I would like to see (numbers placeholders): -Applying Alteration Orbs to a Magic Item 10 times for 25 Alteration orbs, keeping the rarest modifiers -Applying Jewellers Orbs/Orbs of Fusing to an Item 10/100/... times for 25/250/... Currency, keeping the highest amount of links/sockets -Either a similar mechanic for rolling maps with currency, or a non-prohibitive method to enchant maps with "Cannot roll [Tag] Modifiers" (example: Cannot roll Leeching/Trap/Minion/Pinnacle/etc. Modifiers) -It would be really cool to add a mechanic either in Kingsmarch or some other league content (or base) that handles "bulk crafting" at a big loss (Give Isla 20 maps for a lot of various currencies, enchanting dust, gold etc. and she will roll the maps for you, and you can apply RegEx to inspect the results in the menu) 3. Please condense mechanics with lots of clicking in some manner. The particular example for this is Blight: if we can condense the chest clicking, can we just skip the chests altogether and roll everything into the loot explosion somehow? Maybe this can be achieved through a keystone. Other mechanics I would like to see this applied to are: - Ritual (Keystone to auto-buy items based on an algorithm like kingsmarch shipping weighting maybe?) - Verisium Strongbo- I mean Expedition (the chests, Exile, the chests!) - Settlers (The lost shipments could be a band of washed ashore pirates that drop the loot on kill instead, with the same scaling rules as the boxes) - Abyss (Can the trove just drop its loot from the fissure instead please?) Thats it for now. Im personally really worried about my health, I've had more than one of my childhood idols actually disabled due to arm muscle and even nerve issues and I am quite a bit worried about it I hope it's reasonable :) |

I MISSED THE LAST BIT FROM THE OP ABOUT ALTERNATIVE LEVELING!!!!!!
Me and my guild would love to bring back a mechanic as an alternative leveling option from our favourite league: TRIAL OF THE ANCESTORS |
