GGG; Kingsmarch (gold cost) - GGG doesn't seem to have any kindness for average players
" I can see why you'd assume you are the average player because your perspective is your group of friends that plays PoE. But the game is balanced around people who understand the game "a little bit" better than that. You can take issue with that, but this is not and never has been a casual-friendly game, you know? I wished the game had a better onboarding process for new players with in-game descriptions and helpful short videos for some things, but it is what it is. Anyway, I think the gold topic has been exhausted The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge. Last edited by ArtCrusade#4438 on Dec 4, 2025, 10:58:50 AM

" Corrupted T16? Yes, they definitely are. You are underestimating the community. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" We are 1 month into the league, sir. By now most average players already have a lvl 100 character or several 90+ characters if they like messing around with multiple builds. Your challenge progress also does not really show much for 1 full month of league time. Nothing wrong with being slow, but you are definitely not sitting in the average bracket. And honestly, most average players would not bother going to the forums to complain about something as small as the gold cost of Kingsmarch, especially when the game is in a generous state and throws gold at you left and right. Even as a below average player you can still keep your farmers running 24/7 and have 1 set of map runners doing their thing while you are online. Realistically, even an average player would not bother keeping all 3 going around the clock. You can upkeep them just fine while you play, but nobody maintains perfect 24/7 uptime because at some point you log off and you are not going to hop back in just to toss another set of maps at your runners. What is happening here is simple. You are below the average pace and feeling the fomo because you cannot keep Kingsmarch running at full uptime with the level of engagement you put in. It is not balanced around below average players, and neither is the rest of the game. A slower pace and less playtime will always create shortcomings somewhere. So there is no need to ask the game to be watered down to your level of engagement. I'm not a 0,1% Player and enough to do outside of videogames but still have over 150 Days left in Kingsmarch. Maybe just learn how to make tons of Gold?

" Not trying to be mean or elitist here, but the OP is clearly not someone who will be mirroring items anytime soon. Just because you aren't in the 0.1%, doesnt mean you should compare yourself to them (unless you are just trying to flex, but weird flex bro) “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
