the site has a videoplayer buildin so u dont have to download, but this is rediculous really...
a Rank 2 worker costs between 4 days and 6 days worth of gold.
i put in 500K Gold as i worked my ass off for weeks playing poe as i had free time.
but its rediculous how this is designed and COMPLETELY UNBALANCED, theres is NO regard or kindness to less active (average or below average) players what so ever!!!
GGG only focusing on the 0.1% of gamers???!!!

A mistake is using workers with the “Mapper” tag when you’re not actually running maps with them. These are the most expensive workers, and you should only use them when you plan to use the map device. If your goal is just to grow crops, it’s better to reroll for cheaper farmers instead. With low gold income, using mappers isn’t worth it at all, your gold will drain very fast.
Workers only consume gold while they are active. If you run maps, both Farmers and Mappers will show gold costs (since they’re working). If you don’t run maps, Mappers cost 0 gold, because they aren’t doing anything. That’s why their gold usage can look different.
Run maps with lots of magic and rare monsters for more gold. Using scarabs (MOnstrous Lineage) helps increase monster count and gold. Rarity (like rarity Flask) helps to.

im confused cuz they have both icons, in the end i tried a different one and that was a rank 1 iirc, that was 6days of gold difference.
it honestly seems unbalanced for the less active players

It really isn't. Some workers have multiple jobs, but the wage depends on the most expensive job they have. That means you only want to use Mappers / Thaumaturgists for their respective jobs, the others are ballpark in the same range
The gold cost reflects how useful / impactful the workers are. Mappers and shippers bring home loads of good loot, and that's worth every coin of gold you pay them.

I understand being confused about any aspect of POE, as it has a lot going on and features are added all the time.
However, before you make a post complaining about something, maybe take the time to search for a solution.
If you do a quick search on youtube, youll find many videos on managing/optimizing kingsmarch.

I think rank 5 Miners/Smelters/Shippers all have wages in the 400-600 range, Farmers/Thaumaturgists in the 700-1000 range, and Mappers in the 2000-3000 range.
I don't know how much lower ranks cost as a fraction of the rank 5 costs, but I'd still certainly expect a rank 1 mapper to cost as much as, if not more, than rank 5 miners/smelters.

What part of the game IS as fair to less active players as it is to more active players?

If they increased gold amount drops by like 30-50% a lot of this wouldn't ever be an issue. The fact that gold services exist kind of makes Gold a barrier to entry for hideout warriors just flipping items pointless.

It is perfectly fair and balanced, you put in more work you get more reward, you put in less you get less.
