GGG; Kingsmarch (gold cost) - GGG doesn't seem to have any kindness for average players

This is nothing new, GGG never did respect the time of players.
Pointless to give triple-A game companies any sort of constructive criticism without getting put on probation (or banned). GGG's downfall is drawing near.

clearly u didnt understand the topic then cuz i did mentioned "average player" u are far far from an average one...

I did understand, which is why i shared a setup that is doable by "average"/casual players.

Even on 8-mod T16, and only using blight heart + glittering scarabs, you can easily reach 50k+ gold per map (thats on a < 20c per map investment). Add some bismuth juice and a few other scarabs and it sky rockets.

I genuinely feel like my time is valued in Path of Exile. I log in, engage in Activity X for a few hours, and am rewarded for that very effort. Engagement is recognized in a meaningful way because the game rewards you with loot for actually playing rather than handing it out arbitrarily.

Contrast this with something like Lost Ark where the game seems to actively discourage real play. Login bonuses and event rewards are distributed relentlessly, making genuine gameplay almost pointless. Free rewards allow progress in just five minutes, encouraging players to log in, claim their handouts, and log out. Similarly, some games push players to do the bare minimum just to hit daily milestones. That, to me, is the clearest example of a game that does not respect a player’s time.

Path of Exile takes the opposite approach. Even brief sessions, whether it is just thirty minutes for the so-called giga casuals who love to mention their grueling nine-to-five workdays, yield real progress. Most people work yet still carve out time to play and PoE respects that. There is no artificial cap. Playing more hours naturally brings greater rewards just as working longer hours in real life earns more money. Short sessions allow meaningful advancement while longer sessions unlock deeper enjoyment and virtually endless content. This is what thoughtful game design looks like, a system that values every player’s time instead of relying on limited activities or endless freebies that can be claimed in minutes and ultimately discourage further play.

Uh if that’s the case why did they implement the async trade then? Even better why have any trade website at all? Ain’t those for saving time?

then ur overestimating average players cuz no average player is running those kind of maps
Make a gold farmer if you want gold. Can even sell services after that for many divs.
How do you even know you're the "average player"? Is it because you're counting yourself in that group so the game should be balanced around you? You're the average and therefore you should take priority?

Because reality check is this: you cannot know.

The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
find out how to get more gold or use cheaper workers

if you expect to run tier 5 workers 24/7 while not putting in the work to keep that fueled then idk why you think it should be the norm for the game to be giving you stuff for nothing
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.
I think it is this way because they dont want you to be able to effectively passively farm kingsmarch.

If you want to use boats and mappers you need to build an atlas just for gold.

I dont think they want you speccing into mechanics that make you rich and give less gold then being able to use kingsmarch to its fullest.

How would it feel if you could easily farm legion and harby without investing a single point in your atlas passive tree? Thats effectively what it would mean if gold costs were trivial.

and peeps i play with are struggling to even understand many things of the game as the game doesnt give info in any way (thankfully somewhat improved in poe2)
