Remove Kingsmarch as a core mechanic

The "One more turn/round" addiction of great games of the past and the "i have to go online and check my boats/get more gold for my town" or "i have to go online and do my dailys" or "i have to go online to get my log in bonus" are very different things. Kingsmarch is the ladder and it's fomo not addictive. That said, if you have fun, good for you.

I dont like Heist. So i dont deal with it....
I dont like Sanctum. So i dont deal with it... I dont like Expedition. So i dont deal with it... You dont like Kingsmarch. SO DONT DEAL WITH IT! Problem solved. Funfact besides that. You say that a casual Player dont have the Time to farm enough Gold to keep the Town running. You say a Casual Player plays 1-2 Hours a day. When i log in. I do 3-4 Maps ( Alch and Go) in around 20 Minutes And we know that for Alch and go thats extremely slow... But its enough to make that amount of Gold to keep the Town running. i have 1 Group of Mappers with 6 lvl 5 Mappers aktiv and do send 1 Ship every day i play. I like Kingsmarch very much. But i dont get affected by FOMO. If i dont have the Time, or i dont want to play... i dont log in. I dont give a sh**** if the Mappers running 24/7. |
