But the updated ones I've been sent are all too detailed or hard to look at. Will update this night with the link I'm currently using. "I don't have a guide but every act and most zones have environmental tells that I learned by heart over the years. You know, little rocks, odd tiles or delicate placement of dead bodies and stuff. It's actually quite neat how GGG is directing the player through these once you know them. If there's interest I might take screenshots and do a quick write up on the lesser known ones. " In addition to the various tricks for specific areas (which would be a very long list so let me know if there are any specific zones which always seem to hold you up), I think most people would be surprised how much time they can shave off their clear just by being more efficient with the more meta aspects of their gameplay. Things like "only going back to town once or twice per act" and "spend your passive skill points 5+ at a time instead of on every gained level or completed quest" save a ton of wasted time, because all of those seconds really add up. But honestly the only real advice anyone needs to get their league start clear time down to 5-6 hours is the simplest possible: always be moving forward. You should never stop moving, unless you're actively killing something. |

I go pretty hard. will take a day off work, do a 24 hr push, practice my starter build, etc. But I also really hate feeling rushed and will happily spend an extra 5 hours on campaign over placing limits on time in town per act, etc. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

If there is no challenge to overcome, where's the achievement in "beating" the game? What have you actually accomplished if you are just handed out a participation trophy?

" A nice feeling is what I accomplish whenever I achieve my goals in games. Some people play ARPGs for the power fantasy, to feel like they're OP af. Not as a competitive e-sport. I don't play games to conquer them, or achieve anything. I play em to have fun and do whatever feels fun and nice. I'm not here to compete with any players, whether its ladder or the trade economy. I always undercut all my items in my sale tab until they either sell or get vendored, because I simply don't care, I've had enough of that undercutting competition with many years of using WoW's Auction House lmfao |
