Doing one expedition per map without pikcing up anything and get your chromatics from Tujen would be 5 times more efficient even though expedition is not the most profitable mechanic.

Yea there's no real point in picking this stuff up after a certain point. Maybe day 1 or 2 while you're in dire need of basic shit, but most certainly not 2 weeks into a league lol

Never dropped HH never dropped mageblood or a mirror never dropped even a hinekoras nothing. This is kind of disturbing.

At this point I'm just going to speedrun the remaining challenges and call it a day. Lost every motivation already like every league with zero luck whatsoever.

Very good post. Let me share my experience i have like 14k hours or more in the game as u might guess i have several friends in the game. I have only missed few leagues of the game and played pretty much every league. Here my observation over the years:

Starting with me, not ones i dropped HH, MB or any other expensive items and i play pretty much 10+ hours every day and every league. This league it took 16 attempt to get svalin. Meanwhile my friend dropped 4 svalin in 7 run. Same friend dropped 4 mirrors playing casually no juicing or nothing. Every league he drops cool items.

Another friend of mine dropped hh from tree at the second day of league, last league he got mb at the third day of league. He got mb, 4 hinekora cards, power charge implicit ring and many more good items from ritual this league, can list several things he always gets something good and feels rewarded. Meanwhile i cant even get experience loss omen same strat but no reward for me.

Back in the days, sextant block mf farms and such, i was doing everything but no card drops nothing, yet one of my friend who always gets lucky were dropping doctor cards consistently every 10 map or so.

One of the leagues i dont remember which, i decided to run simulacrum till i get 3 or 1 passive voice cuz it was good currency at the time, and i run like 50 or so, forget getting 3 or 1 passive voices i wasnt even getting voices. You know what happened, another friend of mine one of those with lucky account dropped 3 passive voice at his second or third attemt.

List can go on and on again. Can find many similar example. Those who gets rare drops always getting it every league feeling rewarded, those who can't get rare drops like me never drops we always farm like no tomorrow never feeling rewarded.

You can observe too this is not like crazy conspiracy theory or something just check your friends u can see similar things. We talked this many times and reached a conclusion that we are assigned random luck creating the character or something.

Logically speaking this makes 0 sense. I believe you and your friends aren't streamers, influencers or somebody with sway in the community, so assigning lucky and unlucky strings to your accounts is redundant and more work for 0 real result. At least the streamer conspiracy theories have some logic to them

Logic says that, but the thing is we are or i am not that desperate to come up with this stuff. I shared my observation and experince. I think it is just a game so I keep playing otherwise why would one keep playing it. You dont have to be a streamer to get lucky. But the thing is i am pretty sure those who gets rare drops always getting it. It is that simple and if you have chance to collect data from your friends simply ask them and yo will see that those who play a lot and have many friends can confirm it.

hey i also have double digit number of craters and no svalinn this league :D

i don't care tho, as my strat is centered around bar farming anyway. i just run maps and load up ships to get exceptional gems (bismuth), stacked decks (verisium) and tattoos (everything). I just spawn a crap ton of ore nodes per map and get a crater 2-3 times a day. Svalinn will come eventually i guess.

It has nothing to do with that. Any random number generator will have bad/good streaks. This is what is happening.

Generally, given enough iterations of that number generator it should balance out. Maybe its 1000 chances, maybe its 1M chances.

What I think is happening is GGG's algorithm calculates the "median" luck based on streamer statistics which is like 200 maps a day and doing super juiced, mostly group content. The problem is that average players only run maybe 10 maps a night. They are basing their "median" based on the people that have an abusive amont of gameplay time that doesn't match what one normally would play.

My guess its mainly to drive content towards POE by slowing down the amount of riches streamers can accumulate, as well as slowing down the gold/currency farm BOTS that can pay people in asia pennies to just work playing POE to farm for some RMT.

Someone mentioned last night that they found a seller with 2 tabs full of multiple magebloods, progenesis, ect that not one person would normally be able to obtain.

probably just streamer clients. In all reality, after prolly about a million blood used, I got absolutely nothing from the tree, no t0 uniques, no good bases, just crap over and over and over and over. Enjoy your crap league, just like merc, unplayable in hardcore. Good job GGG! Another failure.

I just put 40k blood through, did all the stat, did more str more int less dex, and would just print es bases? Not ar / es????????

Garbage yet again. Now they're putting all this effort into poe2 which is ultimately a MAJOR fail cuz it sucks MISERABLY.

So yeah GGG might just be done at this rate. I don't stream so I won't get good drops. Just becoming more and more useless with each patch and expansion.

You can see they nerfed the tree NUMEROUS times already, ALWAYS NINJA NERFING IT. Which is DISGUSTING. The loot in map is dead, the tree is dead.

exactly, im not talking about streamers and i play crazy amount too and that curve never turns in my favour or some certain poeple. Those who get good drops getting good as usual.
And i only get good items while doing some sort of ultra juiced stuff like last league's alva farm or something. This league, i have completed like over 350+ ultimatums with cata scarab best inscription i got is 8 div. Another friend of mine got doubled mb from ultimatum, he got last league too and i didnt get one last league too. Like, i said you can find many more examples. Many people are like me but the ones that are getting jackpot drops are always the same people.

I feel the same way. Today, I played many, many t16 maps with strongboxes, 8mod, scarabs, and a fully skilled tree. On top of that, there are the Quant and Rarity shrines. The best I got from a currency strongbox was a few chaos. The least I got from a CURRENCY strongbox was TWO ORBS OF CHANCE! And that was with double currency in the tree. WTF? I'm so fed up and super demotivated right now.
