You complain about being behind the curve, but you're playing as if it's day 1 still.

Picking up small items and up converting isn't where it's at.

You need to start blasting through maps and only looting things that are actually valuable.


Also, don't be fooled by the number of challenges next to peoples name, sometimes they're still way better players than you, they just decided to not play this league.

Nah, using giga-strict filters and only picking up "valuable" things leads to burnout, like with the many people complaining that there's no loot,"kalandra 2.0" etc.


Meanwhile, I just play the game and swim in chaos orbs because I actually pick up all the currencies and scarabs and sell them. Do you do the scarab 3-to-1 vendor recipe? Because that's my main source of currency generation all league. This is how I make most of my chaos and divs to buy all my gear. I even did some chaos recipe at the start of the league, because its the most useful thing to do with random rares from low-tier maps.

Every breach encounter has a huge loot explosion, especially Hive Fortress. You won't see it if your filter is way too strict though ofc.

You are mad if you are not using an uber strict loot filter. Even in alch and go tier 16 maps the loot is just too much to stop and pick up all of it

All I do is pick up currencies,chromatic recipe items,6-sockets,all div cards,all scarabs. Usually use 1-2 portals per map unless its a hive fortress map. Its really not so bad, and all those bubblegum currencies sell for a lot of chaos, especially alterations. I always pick up all rare belts and amulets,rings and mass ID them to vendor for alteration shards. I used to do that even before mass ID was in the game kek

Nah I barely pick up anything anymore other than currency above chaos, scarabs and maps.

I usually do that first couple days its not bad and stable income but that is what I refer to picking bread crumbs. By the way they changed poe 2 portals. No longer limited to one.

You may be swimming in chaos, but to be swimming in divines or mirrors you have to play differently.

I'm primarily a standard player, and as such my outlook on loot is probably slightly different than yours, but fundamentally chaos are not worth anything.


Last patch I was able to go into a map, and come out with 50-100 chaos, 2-3 divines. In addition there was a small chance at a hinekora's lock if all of the RNG lined up correctly.


This patch, I go into that same map, and 3 chaos orbs drop, this is the kind of loot difference that this last patch has had to the base game.

The league mechanic does seem incredibly rewarding for early to mid game, but when you start looking to push higher and higher content it's very lacking. and the higher and higher content is also lacking. The game has nothing to progress towards.

Well, if you call picking up chromatics and 6 sockets an efficient strategy then there is really no reason to complain about loot that is for damn sure xd

Doing one expedition per map without pikcing up anything and get your chromatics from Tujen would be 5 times more efficient even though expedition is not the most profitable mechanic.

Obviously I am not serious. If you pick chromas, recipes whatever at the moment I have hard time to believe you. It's insanity.
