Changing premium tabs to merchant

Many people (literally everyone I know, at least) rely heavily on quad tabs and they're literally called "premium quad stash tab" in the store interface.

The assumption that everyone was making from the announcement was that quad tabs would work, as they're all 'premium'.

This is a pretty big deal - having the majority of people's existing trade tabs rendered non-functional for the new system is a really bad move.

Individual pricing problems aside (also a big clamp on the functionality of the new system) I think a lot of people are going to be very unhappy with GGG come launch day, if this stance doesn't change.

A bandaid measure would be allowing people to convert a quad to 4 trade tabs, though that sort of kicks the can down the road, and you'd probably have to then allow them to re-merge them when the functionality is finally implemented to have quads working.

I think a lot of people will also be disappointed with the inability to re-price whole tabs (which is pretty standard practice), but that's not quite on the level of "we said premium tabs work, but the most popular premium tab doesn't".
Massively disappointed with premium quad tabs not being valid for the merchant. As others have suggested, if visibility was the problem, just turn a premium quad into four normal merchant ones. Is GGG's financial situation this dire they need to nickel and dime us into spending money on normal premium tabs or what?
I really hope you willi implement quad stash tabs working ASAP. I bought all my quads to dump random rare items in and set low price to sell it while half afk.

Quad tabs are premium tabs there is no reason this should not work.
If a tab was upgraded from normal to premium, can this tab be converted to merchant? Thanks.

No, you have to individually price each item.

And no quad stashes as option.

Ouch.

GGG employees not playing softcore trade, and efficiently reducing quad tab price by half every 3-6 days?

Same question but after the 0.3 release

If I had a regular tab before 0.3, can I upgrade it to premium and then convert it to merchant tab after 0.3?

Also since now we can convert premium tab to merchant tab, can we finally have the option to convert 4 single tab to quad tab?

Nope. Only straight Premium Stash Tab purchases.

That's lame. Why not just convert the quad into 4 merchant tabs? I bought these with the intent of using them exclusively in Path of Exile 2 for trade.
Important question is:

Will there be option in shop to upgrade normal tab to merchants for 15points(10 on discount) same as to premium tab upgrade?

That would change a lot of purchases of premiums to just upgrades for people who still have normal tabs! Thanks.
I cannot convert too maybe because I'm a steam account.

Will items be able to be priced via the tab name in Merchant tabs the way they're able to be priced currently via Premium stab names, so you can price the entire tab and not have to tediously set a price on every single individual item?
No, you have to individually price each item. The interface does auto-fill with your last price however.

OK, the first one is disappointing.

As for the second one, I guess the if you wanted to reprice a whole tab, you would drop in an item for let's say 10C, and then you would just have to pick up and put down everything in that tab, and then it would all be priced at 10C since it keeps the last price filled, right?
