so if you look at steam db 39k online right now, 86k on 24h peak, lets say a person sees a merc every 10 mins on average thats like 98m - 225m mercs from steam alone on average since launch

i know some people do maps in 2mins, some in 20 and some dont map atall, its just a rough estimation

tbh what this says is a failed implementation of a mechanic that could bo cool, the fact you lose "renown" just by looking puts some people off. and if you look and there is nothing you have to fight, just so you dont lose renown and many mercs still one shot and its just not worth the 10% exp, especially when your 95+ thats hours of mapping exp lost

the further i read into this post, the more pain i feel

I actually won mageblood duel, but then server crashed and it disappeared. Add statistic on how many of them got deleted to server issues.

Seams like my play is not in the stats. I interacted with a infamous merc and he had 4 Mirrors of Kalandra as reward (screen shot from 2025-06-23):

but guys, please, make it visually clearer:

1) Unique items in mercs UI should GLOW with thick orange border.

2) Mercs could have some indication or their DEX/STR/INT attribute type before we even interracted with them, like glowing green/red/blue sparks around their camp or FLAG near them, things like that.

Other than that - probably one of the best leagues you've made so far :)
