Memory tears not spawning in maps ( after the patch ? )

still pulling my hair out over this. things i tried this morning:

5 t16 farming maps (meaning modded), w/ merc, w/ eater: no tears
5 t14 white maps w/ merc and eater: no tears
5 t14 white maps NO merc, with eater, with atlas passives: no tears
5 t14 white maps NO merc, NO eater, NO atlas passives: no tears

i should note that i am change the base map every time as there were conspiracy theories within my group that running the same map over and over may have decreased chance of appearing, though this is not confirmed.

according to the wiki the tears have a base chance of 5% to appear, with passives 7% in t16+. by that logic you SHOULD see a damn tear, on average, in 20 maps. but this isn't happening. GGG PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS!

after those 20 maps, i got frustrated and decided to do some kirac missions. 2nd mission got a tear. there's no rhyme or reason to this nonsense.

i can confirm after reading much of the thread and a bit of testing that the reason this is not working is due to 1 or a combined set of the following 4 things:

1. equipped Merc (this being what i suspect to be the core of the issue)
2. Spawn chance nodes for tears in the atlas
3. T16, T16.5 and t17 maps (altho much less likely that the others)
4. Having any type of influence when running the map either exarch or eldritch.

After running about 35x t17s and maybe around 10x t16s 8 mods corrupted with a merc equipped , eldritch influence, atlas nodes for spawn chance and not getting a single tear drop, i dismissed the merc, grabbed a t14 white map (no mods) and took off atlas nodes for chance to spawn and got the memory tear in the first t14 white map.

So far nothing is working for me including T14 white maps...

GGG needs to respond on this. Have not seen a single non-quest tear in hours.

Trying to keep this post alive. Out of frustration I reached out to support this morning. I would just like some form of communication from GGG to see if they are investigating this.

Update. Heard from support and they aren't providing any information regarding this issue and if they are looking into it. They suggested I posted to the discussion forum and the bug reports forum. For reference, I provided the link to this post with my original message.

UPDATE

I decided to just speed run t14 white maps, leave your merc in the hideout and no eater/searing influence. Perhaps GGG turned up my spawn rate, but i have found 3 tears in 10 maps. If you're trying to complete the challenge, I'd suggest you go this route.

Again, white t14s, no merc, no eater/searing influence. Just rush through the maps looking for the tear icon. I DO have memory nodes on the atlas so that I can block 2/3 bosses.

This is just a suggestion, but I haven't found tears this quickly in 2 weeks.

Finally T14 worked for me too, the map was rare instead of white but still worked.

I can confirm that T15 also works.

Try different maps, don't spam the same map.

If you can't find it, just try running Kirak quest. It helped me
