Memory tears not spawning in maps ( after the patch ? )

I realize this could be complete dumb luck, but after doing hours and hours of t16 maps, juiced or not, and not finding one single memory tear.... did ONE T13 map and got one right away. After I completed the chain. Did one T13 map and one T14 map and got another......

just found one after 176 maps, working as intended?

Hi, I was also stuck here for about 100 maps:

Originator Memory Influenced Maps (50/50)
Courtyard of Wasting (4/4)
Chambers of Impurity (3/4)
Theater of Lies (2/4)

After reading several comments, some seemed to say that removing the influence worked for them, and others that they should have removed the mercenary.

Honestly, I don't know if it's due to chance or something, but I managed to get one.

I removed the influence,

1 map -> nothing

So I then removed my mercenary (and the influence as well).

1st map -> nothing
2nd map -> Memory Tears

Try it, tell me if it's really just a coincidence.

all maps i run was T16

So I completed my memory chain.
It only took me two more maps (no merc/no influence) before I got another memory tear. At this point, I must be playing the lottery in real life, or there's definitely something wrong with either the merc or the influence, or both.

100% this is far too rare and / or broken. This needs to function more like how there is a bar that fills up and less RNG as other have stated

Adding to this. I was told by a friend who completed 40/40 a week ago that they achieved the Recollections Realised by just spamming t16s, no scarabs or anything. Spawn in, reveal the whole map, no tear, get out, repeat.

I have now ran 40 maps in a row with no tear. Have been farming for 12 hrs and have had 3 boss fights. This should not be this rare. GGG PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS!

Has anyone tried the t14 and no merc suggestion to see if that gets a tear to spawn?

So, after many, many (lost count) T16 maps without having a tear spawn I came across this thread and decided to buy 2 T14 maps, the second map spawned a tear.

If this many people are having the same problem there has to be an issue.

were those t14s un-modded or did you alch and go on them?

having to degrade your map running to lower tiers for them to appear is the problem. GGG please do something about the spawn rate. i have tried the lower tier strat and have not had success. ran about 100 maps yesterday, had 1 appear in t16s. so far i'm 40 in today with no luck.

Bump, finally 39/40.

After lurking on this thread and stubbornly sticking with T16s in the hope of GGG would hotfix this mess....imagine.

I finally caved and stopped running T16 and switched to T14s normal, no-influence, no merc. Within 5 maps i got a tear and then ran leftover Kirac missions to get the final one.

I didn't see a single thread in a T16/T16.5/T17 while running Influenced Abyss Farm.

All my Tears since patch came from T14s white maps.

Just to add to this... I had not seen a Memory tear in over a month after doing many many T16s. Kinda forgot that they were part of the game even. Switched to doing a white T14s with no atlas points towards memory tear chance after seeing this thread, and found a memory tear on my second map.

Shrug. Seems like a bug.
