First time playing EA Ballista, and really happy with my build right now. Have deviatet with some of the gears and skills, but gotten to the max damage and have 143k in ehp.
Switchet from a blizzard helm to inward for defense purposes. Use Death rush for adrenaline. Have not bothered with more than determination, malevolence and def. banner, so maybe som potential there, but grace does noe give me that much extra. The def. nodes on the bottom of the skill tree is huge for me. Got a lucky drop with the red nightmare jewel which made me get endurence much easier, and got some block chance as well. Bastion flame/flesh is the icing on my def. cake. " Perhaps a more safe way of blighted maps could be better. If it's just about leveling. May or may not be slower, but you can watch a series or something on the 2nd monitor while leveling. Lethal pride can be crazy for this build. I lucked in with a 30 chaos buy and got:
ignites you inflict are 10% faster 20% increased Burning damage 5% double damage 5% increased strength 20 to strength 0.4% of attack damage leeched as life is Rakita 10382. all that for one jewel. crazy thing is there are even better ones out there, 60% burning damage and ignites 20% and so forth. takes alot to get though. i used this to help search jewels https://vilsol.github.io/timeless-jewels/tree?jewel=2&conqueror=Akoya&seed=17702&location=54127&mode=stats | |
" Some non-expert thoughts. Tempered Arrowheads on the Large Cluster would help with getting to 20 stacks. Do you still need bastion of Elements? Its not too horrid to drop it in favour of Shaper of Storms. For more life you really need to get a rare armour, but this will cause spell suppression issues. You gloves are super lovely but you are losing 23% spell suppression. You can get fire multiplier from the searing exarch. Also, are you sure that Culling Strike on the gloves actually works while you are dealing no damage yourself? You can also look for a Watcher's Eye with spell suppression when running Grace. This will let you drop the life and suppression nodes reaching out towards watchtowers. This will free them up to reach to the nodes around Reflexes to patch any missing suppression. Probably also time for a lethal pride. Depending on your seed, lethal pride really dictates how you allocate the endgame passives you just freed up. Current Build: Level 100 Elementalist EA Totem

" I think the culling support is for the flame surge. The culling on the gloves is global right? Not just for the gems in the gloves. This means that the arrows shot from frenzy have culling? " Yeah, the gloves were a super recent drunken purchase ;). Not sure what I was thinking, the gloves I replaced were getting me to 20 fuses with %36 attack speed while focused, I'll probably switch back. Also, I'm already using Shaper Of Storms, are you suggesting dropping Bastion in favor of Heart of Destruction? Admittedly my grasp of a lot of the mechanics is thin. I'd love to switch chests but I'd have to run the numbers on losing +2 levels on all my auras. Lethal Pride has been on my list for a while, just figuring out the seed and balancing passives are the issue. | |

I have tried to fallow the build and i think i am very close to what is discussed by people. I still feel that i can go further with the build but i am not sure how or with what. I asked before on upgrade options to optimize my build and some of you gave me GREAT ideas (shout out to MacGyver85EL for a very detailed suggestion with justifications why), so i am hopeing for some now as well. " I'm no indepth expert on the build but, I did notice that you are running your EA gem with 24 quality. This isn't good for us as it only increases the time it takes for explosions to occur. You'll find that no quality makes enemies almost insta explode. You'll notice the difference immediatly. An EA 21/0 costs 10c! This would mean you would have to ditch your ammy. Maybe consider one with +1 to skills gems or +1 to fire gems...or if you're loaded get one with both!! One more idea would be to get the eldritch mod "ignites spread to other enemies within a radius of X" on gear. This means you can drop Ignite Prolif, and replace it with empower (3 or 4) which will give you a big damage boost although it will need a new bow with +2 to support gems. Hi all,
Have reached level 98, and am happy with the build overall. Extremely pleased with how easy it kills Sirus, Eater, etc. However, having real problems when going against the Uber versions. I know I am a non-expert, and my playstyle probably accounts for my getting killed so much, but was hoping for some feedback as to how I might improve against the Ubers. https://pastebin.com/K6EW7u1e Any advice is appreciated.
