[3.18] Gryph's Tank Simulator - A Detonate Dead Ignite Elementalist

What would be best metod to craft the Large 3 notable jewel? Im checking everyday trade site and theres never up one. And the offline are listed for like 15-20ex.

Or maybe there are other mods as strong as the 3 you are using? I guess Master of Fire is a must but what about Prismatic Heart and Widespread Destruction?

Jewel notables are flexible. Sadist is really good for damage. The main thing is to get Master of Fire in the front of the wheel. Can even be a 2 notable jewel. I used one with Doryani's Lesson+Master of Fire for a long time and just didn't take Doryani's.
Used awakener, result not amazing but I guess could be worse.

Gonna slam it with Leo for last prefix (maybe will hit life) and fix sockets with Vorici, have him as T4 waiting for Cata to spawn.

Bro why didnt I see your build earlier..?
Spent 20+ ex on a gen cry for boss killing while I could have spent 7 and do the exact same thing but a bit slower.
Thanks for the guide!
One question: do you convert all your phisycal damage to fire or only 40%+30% with the budget weapon?
Just wanted to say this build is really awesome. I'm not even CLOSE to min maxxed and my clear speed/bossing is very good already. Doing shaper guardians at the moment on ~8 ex investment with complete ease.

We need this build to become popular so people sell more helmets with the lab enchant on trade. I fuggin hate doing lab runs!

Thanks!

The physical conversion is *only* for the phys explosions from a rare chest. I only do the 40% on the tree to make the explosions deal primarily fire damage for the +25% more ignite damage from the ascendancy (and also we scale fire damage generically).
Is this likely to be viable at league start? My worry is the +5 enchant being pretty hard to get early on.

I levelled to 72 to try it out, seems pretty fun so far with mostly garbage gear.

It is totally fine as a league starter. That said, You'd want to go about the start with specters and desecrate unless you can get an early Phantasmal Unearth.

It's not like you need the damage early on for low tier maps either. DD scales with area nicely. For clearspeed, Obliteration wand as a cheap explodey works wonders too.
Thanks, and yeh, obliteration wand helped a lot. It's fun to run around in T16s at level 77 making 400k xp/hour, though my gear is decent now. Gems at least.

I haven't played anything with ignite, explode, or corpses yet, so I don't really 'get' some of the build yet. But after reading the thread again:

Helmet corruptions can be pretty good:

Spoiler
increased burning damage
reservation multiplier
socketed aoe gems
socketed aura gems
max life
max es

If we double corrupted two of these on a brine crown, then enchanted it, might that be better than most (all?) rare helmets? Obviously quite a lot of work to do, but perhaps less than grinding enough money to get a better helmet.

Is vaal molten shell not useful? Perhaps lack of skill slots?

Can it be worth getting +2 gems on amulet rather than dps mods, assuming unearth is already at 30? It's not clear to me what another corpse level is worth.

Or alternatively, is uul-netol's vow likely to be better than stranglegrasp? Than most corrupted stranglegrasps? POB says Cruelty is almost 40% more damage, and it ought to free up some ring/boot affixes.

Does the -9% fire on the hat count as exposure?

If you got Mana Multiplier and Burning Damage on the helmet that'd be pretty sick, not gonna lie. But yeah not gonna be worth it to enchant a corrupted one unless you have 2 very good implicits.

I don't use Vaal Molten Shell because I use Vaal Detonate Dead and I don't want to split the Vaal Souls. Also it's another button I'd never press.

Another corpse level is about 10% more damage. To get that with a +2 Amulet takes 2 prefix slots vs a 50% DOT multi amulet that takes 2 suffix slots and is worth about 25% more damage and I still have room for life, armour, or ES, and -mana cost craft.

As for Uul-Netuul's...yeah it's probably BiS for damage. Good for another 10-15% more than my current amulet and comes with a pile of resists. Not worth the price tag though in my opinion.

-9-12% Fire Res on helmet is not exposure.
