[3.18] Gryph's Tank Simulator - A Detonate Dead Ignite Elementalist

I noticed some strange things on your POB.
You check "covered in Ash" but I do not see where you are causing this state.
Also I do not understand the use of Flame Surge. Its only interest is in scorch proc but only 10% chance and lasts only 4s, and the brand trigger it every 2s.

I see you have two DD characters in Scourge. The level 90 is a template for a more budget option and from here I should upgrade into the second version, right?

Ah yes! I was running the mastery for it at one point, forgot to uncheck it. I'll update the pob in the guide (forgot to). This is my character right now:

It leaves burning ground at the feet of the enemies it hits with burning DPS equal to 25% of the ignite the enemy is afflicted with.
TLDR:
It's basically 25% more dps if they stand still at all. Scorched is just a "might as well" choice.

Yeah I made the budget one (10ex total) to prove a point. and THAT one can do all normal endgame content pretty easily. I also got to wave 25 Simulacrum before being soft stopped (I could probably have brute forced my way to 26). That said she'd get hard stopped anywhere in 22-24 by +Fire res mod.

If you have a socket free, you can use infernal cry to give covered in ash. Seems like a good fit. Anomalous infernal cry + enhance is pretty fast casting too.

I actually have Infernal Cry in the budget setup (free socket with no Enlighten). Didn't consider getting the alt quality on it though. Neat!
I'm so mad at myself that I did not bought bunch of Phantasmal Unearth when they were for 40c. Now they cost like 1,5-2 ex. WTF happened?

Also just got two bases for the explo chest, at this point I just should awakener orb them and pray for some good mods or atleast empty mods for multimod?



Don't wanna ruin them.

Your version have higher % mods. To get it you have to Maven Orb bases first before using awakener orb on them, right?

I think your corpse life calculations are off. Looking at the Bone Archer poedb page it says lv84 have 84,708 life which is quite a bit higher than taking the base monster health and multiplying but 140% more from Bone Archer (16265 * 2.4 = 39,036). I think it's pretty likely the corpses have around double the life you originally calculated.

It's fine but not at its best here as we don't benefit from the damage side of the helmet. If you want something that gives a lot of armour+life+ES use Brine Crown. 1k armour+1.5k when stationary, reduced cold damage taken, some mana regen, and Cannot be Frozen. It's my top pick for budget helmet if you need survivability over the Enchant. If you can get it WITH the enchant then it's honestly my top pick for non-rare helmet.

It even enables the chill side of the Sadist cluster notable!

I'm basically just using what I can see. If I'm wrong on the low side I'm honestly okay with that. Bottom line is that the build pumps out really nice damage+tank+clear.

Yeah mine were with elevated mods made with Maven Orbs but that's not needed at all (and also exponentially more expensive).

But yes, Awakener orb and pray basically.
