Yo! I started the league as a TR Raider, but I'm considering options for what my next build will eventually be. This one looks interesting, but I'm pretty lazy - how much effort goes into running this build against maps and bosses? How many different buttons are you pressing (and do they require actual timing)? I don't mind the BF/BB two-button approach, but how often are y'all having to hit Sigil/Vigilant/Cloak/EC? Are there any automation options (even if they make the skill(s) less effective)? tia

you can put cloak on left mouse button, sigil should be used on bosses and ultimatums/and rippy sirus rares. You can drop fortify, the build doesn't need it if you're on SC. Keep in mind doing these things is non-optimal. but the build still does fine without and is still very tanky/does good damage

Thanks for the quick response! That sounds a lot more up my alley. Definitely don't mind losing some tank for QoL since all I play is SC. I guess I could replace Fortify with a typical CWDT Immortal Call to get a little more passive beef.
Just want to say I'm really enjoying this build. Thanks for the effort you've put into it and the responses you've given throughout the thread, they've helped me in my progression a lot!

Don't do that, Immortal Call shares a cooldown with Arcane cloak as both are Guard skills.
Decided to league start with this, has been great so far. Recently got to red maps, and I started getting randomly one shot by ultimatums and sometimes getting my 8k mana get ripped through by some packs and bosses occasionally. What would you recommend doing? I dont have much life on my rares, and was planning to swap to an atziris foible when I get enough currency. Should I drop a sceptre for a shield, maybe save for replica mistwall? If so, which sceptre? Last thing, sorry for lots of questions, also some may be self explanatory but never played a mana based build nor do I have many hours in the game and figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.
First of all - thank you for the guide!
I leaguestart with it abd right now clear almost all content without any trouble and big investment, buy cloack and foible at First day, linked cloak and drop crown from the 1st sirus and roll trough content very easy, with my curret gear kill UE miltiple time deathless, a9 sirus and else. Still training Maven coz kiling her 1st time and uAtziri possible too with sybile ring or just doging her mirror. So again, thanks for the guide, i really enjoy!
Really strong build, I reached T14 maps with 2 1c scepters and realized the damage is too low and its time for me to get better items. what's the most important stats for sceter? is Atziri's Foible a good choice of amulet?

how much mana regeneration would be ideal to feel safe and tanky in ultimatums and rippy maps?
I'm sitting around 6500 mana and 450 regen without buffs at the moment and I don't feel safe at all against big packs of mobs or bosses, my mana pool is empty most of the time.
yes I have mind drinker anointed, I don't spam arcane cloak and have the suggested flasks with quality (24% on mana)
maybe I should aim at 800+?

you can spam arcane cloak at that level, your flasks are incorrect. You need to run a quartz, it's critical drop the sulfur that's never recommended in the guide. Make sure your basalt flask is a chemist's and you also have 0 endurance charges (min craft them on rings/ammy or run enduring cry) and even more importantly you don't have fortify. This can be achieved one of three ways.

Shield charge-fortify-faster attacks before vigil, great if you dont have a sceptre
vigilant strike-faster attacks-ancestral call with or without vigil
edit: run vaal grace as well if you have space.
general's cry-desecrate-vigilant strike but you have to have the vigil
other quotes
Get fortify, run proper flasks, get endurance charge uptime via enduring cry (feels better with urgent orders linked but not necessary imo) or min endurance charge crafts on rings/ammy and you'll triple your ehp and max hit taken.

i kinda do not see the need of vigil when selfcasting vigilant strike, after the nerfs the jewel does nothing, except gives fortify to party, the timer is the same, 3 skill points could be spent elsewhere

with generals cry, other that using in trigger weapon (not sure if working) it is now very clunky and after the nerf of vigil it has to be cast too often, only advantage is on big boss fights maybe to get fortify without the need of hitting something? that or i do not understand it at all, maybe :o)

is it a good mana flask? gonna buy it following the guide in pob
