how important is it to have attack speed on the staff? i'm looking at rolling a new character with about a 37ex budget rn and crafting one so far hasn't been succesful hence i've looked to buy one, which just isnt much easier
If you have many other sources of attack speed, then it is not that important. For example, my current weapon doesn't have attack speed.
However, having attack speed in weapon can help a lot.
[3.19] Jenno's Staff Crit Lightning Conduit Elementalist - All Rounder Spell Caster Build.
[3.17] Ultimate Self-cast Flameblast Occulist. Pure Damage and Tankiness for End Game.
[3.17] One shot Tectonic Slam Chieftain. Great Damage and Survivability.
Guys! I implore you do not do this build! The build is just crap! Do not waste your time, and most importantly your nerves! I decided to start on this build, I liked the gameplay, and most importantly the damage potential ... How sorry I was .... I did everything according to the instructions , bought all the same things, downloaded all the same skills, in general, as a blueprint, and that's what, there is no 40-200 million damage, maximum 1-1.5 million sirus damage.survivability is shit! closing cards on t-16 under Maven is impossible! only Rips!I couldn't even kill Sirus at level 81-82, and yes, I know how to fight him. I couldn't close the cortex, minus a lot of currency. All in all, I'm VERY disappointed! Selling this shit for a new character.
Hi, I looked at your characters and found some pretty critical issues.
Not that it matters anything to you now, but I guess I should point it out so others don't make the same mistake.
1. I bet your hit chance is only ~60%, because I see you are trying to go crit, but don't have hits can't be evaded craft or accuracy gears. This will end-up reducing your effective damage by around a half. It also makes you very vulnerable too because there's a big chance mobs won't be damaged at all.
2. Your tree isn't right, I can see you are trying to fit multiple auras without enlighten gem. However, spending those extra skills means less nodes to increase your life and damage
3. Your flasks setup is redundant and contradicting themselves. For example, lion's roar and rumi's concoction provides the same mod, therefore only need one. Life flask is not necessary because enduring cry recovers more life in shorter time. Most importantly, you don't have curse immune, then your character can't handle curse maps well.
4. Your auras are not right. As I said, you don't need anger until very end-game after getting a watcher's eye, before that, simply run the same auras as my POB so far.
5. Your skills have problems too, some skills are incorrectly linked. On top of that, I see lots of guard skills like vaal molten shell, steel skin, immortal call etc. They all share the same cooldown, so no need to really run all of them. Just make sure you use the same skill I used in POB.
Overall speaking, getting this build to work isn't hard, if one could just simply read the guide and follow the POB, then a lot of mistakes can be avoided.
I want to comment on everything that you wrote to me, so:
1.My chance of hitting is 93% on dexterous enemies-88 and I have normal effective damage, I can see that enemies are receiving damage and that I hit, but this is not enough! DAMAGE SIMPLY NO! And you know why I can not afford a good weapon with a high critical hit chance and high dps and of course craft for 100% accuracy, I just can't close anything, I DIE ANYWHERE, WHERE I CAN ONLY RAISE AT LEAST A LITTLE CURRENCY !!!
2. I did as you described, namely, I bought the mentor, gave up the burning anger in favor of summoning mechbots and pumped the remaining points into damage, critical strike chance and health, unless I changed the amulet, because there is no currency! I found out that the damage became less, I also abandoned the molten armor and steel skin in favor of a golem that dies in 2 seconds on the T-16 map and does not perform its function, namely, to set it on fire. This did not increase survival, I still DIE EVERYWHERE !
3 "Life flasks are not needed" - ARE YOU SERIOUS ?! Give up the life flask and rely only on the cry of fortitude, no comment! As long as I use the skill with a cooldown time, I WILL DIE!
In general, I read the manual from start to finish and followed it, but the expected did not come true in reality and even more ...

for 3, if you dont face tank, and run around and slam you should be fine ( remember you have high life regen, 2 shouts regen some life, and enduring regens a TON. and also you 1shot regular mobs(you get life regen from those aswell), so only 1, 2 max enduring shouts per mob pack should suffice :p
Any tip for mana sustain in SSF when I can't get cinderswallow urn? Just have thrill seeker permanently allocated? That means I can't easily change the passive tree later, though. Maybe -8 mana cost ring and 50% increased mana regen from jewellery would be enough?
Hi,
Ment to post here for a few days now, but after switching to crit yesterday I just had to give big thumbs up for the guide. Nice to see that your playing it yourself and also updating the guide as you go, has helped a lot. So, switched to crit yesterday and it brought the fun back in to this build. Non-crit was getting dull at this level and eventho I´m not 1-shotting some of the bosses, I still 2 or 3 hit most of them, even conquerors and I still have plenty of optimisation to do with my gear and tree/jewels.
Oh, and the mana is a bit problem here also, altho I dont have enlighten lvl 3 yet. Also thinking of getting stun-immunity back, as I feel that interruptions are sewerely breaking the flow of the build.
I couldn't even kill Sirus at level 81-82, and yes, I know how to fight him.

Hi mate, i understand you are frustrated, and while we are playing game that allows you to play literally any build you want in any way there still ways to play it better.
1. You have smite the weak on cluster (0 dps 0 survaival) also you have 2 devastator (one of them is useless because thay don't add up to each other) and on both of you cluster jewels you have only 2 passive skill you can easy obtain one for around 15c (without devastator)
2. You bought elder version of astral plate, but you need hunter one for extra curse
3. Also you can get helm with 40%inc tectomic dmg for cheap end fossil craft -9% fire res on it
4. And in my opinion 2 ex version (around 13-14 mil max dmg) simply suffice to clear most of the content for now. Mind that i'm not yet at the point in league where fighting sirus, cortex, uber elder etc, but with my current gear (overall cost less then 150 chaos for all items, jewels and flask) i can pretty much one shot t16 boss if lined up cry, totem and flask perfectly. So if you want all you need to do is respec a little from crit build to non-crit version, after that you can farm currency to progress further or for another build if you still wish to swap

You can craft large cluster with Fuel the fight passive skill, then you can annoint any other passive. And you can have cinderswallow urn by farming catarina, also it may take a while
Good build, clearing 100% delirious no problem.
One of the main things that you should never stop moving, boom slam-->move/dash>boom slam>move/dash etc. Working on upgrading amulet and shaper ring, also working on rerolling stats on gloves and still looking for proper helmet with influence/enchant. Theres still stuff to upgrade.

Thanks for the tip, it looks good. I will probably try to use this notable because I don't like betrayal and farming Catarina in SSF takes forever.
