Morning Everyone,

Wanted to try something new and heard a lot about TR.

A quick google search seems to indicate that Pathfinder or Trickster are the way to go. PF being more min/max and Trickster being quicker off the bat.

Another google search for TR pathfinder builds leads me to this build, but it clearly says Remi's Toxic Rain Deadeye.

What gives? Am I missing something? Was this a pathfinder guide that changed to deadeye after multiple seasons?

That's what happens when searches aren't time sensitive.

Trickster was the way to go pre-3.13 patch. Pathfinder was the way to go before 3.14 patch. Due to trickster nerfs in 3.13 and changes to toxic rain in 3.14 (reducing its synergy with pathfinder's increased aoe), these ascendancies are still playable, but no longer optimal.

I'd say currently for dps the best ascendacies are Deadeye and Occultist, the best defensive ascendancy is Raider (PF lost the edge due to hardened scars nerf in 3.14). PF and Trickster are okay, but nothing special.

i cant seem to find any of those crafts for the bow
all i can do is like alt craft and do the other steps with imprint 3 mod craft

got same problem for the bow got dot and socket just attackspeed need i just got fireres i need too change it but havest craft is hard too get too change it

It's not worth it to craft on that bow, cus it's on the wrong base

Looking at hands of high templar, would it be dumb to get for example both despair and enfeeble/temp chains as you'd be able to have 3 curses with whispers of doom, and curse on chest?

Btw, any thoughts on flow untethered with max attack speed if you're not über rich?
