" Helmet with Life, -% chaos res on nearby enemy and some res is better than Devoto, if you can grab one with Toxic Rain arrow +1 you're set to go. Clusters are also good to have and plan the build ahead, I'd grab some base and roll them with the spare Harvest you get (you can roll the Broadside/Tempered arrow with "Physical" plants and the other one with Chaos plants).
" You should actually get (0.25 + 0.5) * 0.88 + 0.25 = 0.91 (91% reserved). Make sure you don't have any support gems that increase the mana reservation of Aspect of the Spider. This means no "Second Wind" or "Increased Duration" on that item. You can also get an amulet with Malevolence has reduced #% mana reservation, but it's not easy to roll with +1 to Dexterity gems (on average, it should take about 30ex or so in aug influence crafts), and +1 to gems definitely is the priority affix. " Hello, I just got a +4 carcass. For corrupted quill rain, understood you got frenzy and onslaught. I got culling on my gloves so i can skip the culling gem. Do you think it is better to replace the culling strike with another gem? or get a different implicit +1 arrow and put in a onslaught gem with blast rain? I'm abit mixed.
" Yeah, I think probably +1 Arrow is your best corruption in that case. Utility gems all work! I think Onslaught is the best option, but if not Onslaught, you can get Blind (though a lot of enemies will already get blinded by Flesh and Stone) or Critical Strike to proc Elusive slightly more. You can also get Lesser Multiple Projectiles for even more projectiles for slightly faster Wither stacking, but you honestly don't need them most of the time. hey guys this is my first time playing POE this is my first build that I decided to try I am currently struggling in red maps and conquer fights currently level 88 and just following remis guide without any cluster jewels as of yet.
I have about 7ex and not sure what to do to boost damage and how to not run out of mana so fast against boss fights, any advice is appreciated, I do have only 5% chaos resistance with the rest of the resistances capped ( I am struggling with al-hezmin fight in particular) Last edited by rahuls on Mar 6, 2021, 2:56:07 AM

" Get empower lvl 3+ (why do people ever level their own empower not in weapon swap but in actual link beats me, lvl 3 corrupted should be cheap), you should probably stick to quill rain until you can get a proper +3 bow or craft one with fossils and save this one on a side (even though it's not the best base to multimod really), and you should get a proper amulet, that talisman is really bad doesn't even have life on it and anoint is useless. Craft a proper hunter amulet or buy one. Also if you use asenath's chant put there skills that would help you (like despair, essence drain or soulrend) otherwise use a rare helmet with -9 chaos res aura. "Use a mana flask. "Shakari pantheon, watcher's eye with unaffected by poison or curing flask go a long way there, also having exposure therapy or student of decay on a medium cluster. " You capped your elemental resists but neglected all other aspects of the build. Your itemization should work around these 3 points: -elemental resists -Life -DPS and Chaos resist Having elem resists and Life is not so expensive and should be prioritized until you have enough currencies to craft your final equipement. You have too many pieces without enough life. I would use these 7 Ex to buy an intermediate stuff allowing to farm easily Red maps. For exemple here are some poe trade researches to find correct stuff: Boots: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/E9M5DKVt5 Gloves: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/qZQEO5kfg Quiver: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/5MOZyodua Amulet /talisman: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/5MOZVyeca Belt: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/8l0v3gVhV Rings: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/ryEQnEGFQ Ring with Despair on hit: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/KyDPEOyC5 Base Rings to craft Chaos damage ( Spam Deafening Essence of Envy until you get a good ring) : https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/GlJL0Qoib 6Link Quill Rain ( will be a lot more efficient than your curent bow): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Ritual/po9P5bF0 I'm also not convinced by the Asenath's chant helmet. A devoto devotion is better to start with a blast rain setup to cast wither on ennemies. You should also change your flasks. The flask setup in the guide is perfect and will solve your mana issues, there is no reason to not use it. Here is mine, it allows to run cursed maps without being cursed and the immune poison on the mana flask will help you against al-hezmin When you will have enough currencies, you can go for the 1 cluster setup, it is probably the change giving the most DPS. Then craft your final equipement one by one with Harvest, TFT discord is your best friend to do it. Last edited by Gromhouleux on Mar 6, 2021, 6:35:06 AM

I converted my toxic rain herald of agony build into this last night and I am very glad that I did. The initial investment was a bit expensive due to the cluster jewels - I decided to dive straight into it as deep as I could go. I'm still missing some of the big ticket items like the watcher's eye.
I am very glad I made the switch, I knew that TR had it in him to deal actual damage and this build proves it. Yeah I'm really squishy, but I do know how to take a hit so long as I'm not trying to face tank something or running headlong into a mob pack. I would say that map mods with severe penalties to elemental resistances, though, are incredibly dangerous and not to be taken lightly with this build. I feel like I might need more life than the 4.4k I was able to muster before I can fight Siris with this build, we'll see I guess the next time I open his encounter back up - my last build made the siris fight a chore so I'm really looking forward to trying out this actual damage on him. Thanks OP, |
