" I may not always build this build every league, but I really enjoy all the discussion and throwing around ideas every new league. Some of my suggestions pan out, others like arcane surge falls apart on investigation. Clay created the first iteration but he has been very generous in sharing its evolution with the rest of us " I think a few leagues back I noticed adding discipline doesn't really add that much eHP, so I've not used it since then Try it in the POB (ignore the mana stuff) and click it on and off. It doesn't add that much. |

" You guys have put in as much hours, if not more, then me at this point ^^ " I don't think the Aspect will be that hard to get though. You can buy gloves with most mods you want with an open suffix and then craft Aspect on it yourself. Getting the beast to craft it in the Bestiary shouldn't be that expensive to get. Even in Std you can get it for 1-2ex usually. Last edited by Claeysken on Aug 19, 2022, 3:39:44 AM

Speaking of Discipline, I'm well aware that additional ES is nowhere near as good as additional life, but I also like how you get like 120% increase of energy leech value from it too. Also it's a bit weird that Effective HP doesn't change at all in PoB whether you have 4+k ES or only 2+k ES for example. Although the changes of taking max hit do change - I'd think eHP will also increase because of that, but I guess it's not as straigthforward.
Also 1500+ hours in I learn that you can craft Aspect of the x via beast-crafting which I guess shouldn't be surprising. In my defence I never used any of the Aspect skills or engaged in beastcrafting other than for removing/adding suffix-prefix craft. Last edited by MrCinos on Aug 19, 2022, 6:05:37 AM

" The build was originally an Inquisitor many many leagues ago. Since then, due to changes in the game, we have morphed back and forth through various classes trying to find the best spot for any one given league. For 3.19, we settled on Elementalist, which has been strong for us in the past. Last edited by AndyLovesHisBge on Aug 19, 2022, 6:57:19 AM

" Thanks for this info! That is very helpful. By the way, does the slow from the spiders web stack with the slow from our Arctic Armor chilling? |
|
" I rarely craft anything due to lack of knowledge and confidence but I do use the beastcrafting every league to put 30% quality on my items when min maxing them. I hope to try the Aspect recipe this league if I can find a good set of gloves with a suffix open. |

" I think I found the answer. Chill reduces action speed while Aspect of the Spider Hinders which slows movement speed. From what I have read these two debuffs do work together and do have a form of stacking (I think action speed also includes movement, along with attack/cast speed). " Yeah, maybe I'm trolling myself. I have noticed in my totem league starter that sometimes if I just add 50 life or ES, the eHP goes up by 10K. I think it's basically POB calculating the hit damages and time to death, and sometimes you go over a threshold. In this build's case though, it's less clear to me. Since we have so much ES recover on hit, it may be that for certain # of monster hit damage, we basically have infinite recover. Get hit for 1000, recover for 1000, almost instantly. If they want to nerf aegis all they have to do is put a delay on the recovery (maybe act like recoup) and it will be a lot less powerful. Still, discipline is a 35% reservation and I think to take that in the past you had to give up things like herald of ash, which I preferred to keep for the clear and damage.
