In this build's case though, it's less clear to me. Since we have so much ES recover on hit, it may be that for certain # of monster hit damage, we basically have infinite recover. Get hit for 1000, recover for 1000, almost instantly. If they want to nerf aegis all they have to do is put a delay on the recovery (maybe act like recoup) and it will be a lot less powerful.

Like others in the community, I am a bit shocked (and happy) that Aegis survived untouched again.

There are a handful of ways to nerf it but still keep it viable. I bet if they dropped the recovery amount down to 1% of armor, it would still see a lot of use but be less powerful.

Or another way to indirectly nerf it is to bring Determination back to what is was. It is actually the massive buff to Determination which made the shield popular. Until that time it was a relatively low used shield and you could get a good one for like 40c. It still worked well for us because we stacked armor like crazy but most builds don't do that. They let Determination carry them for the most part.

By the way, does the slow from the spiders web stack with the slow from our Arctic Armor chilling?

I think I found the answer.

Chill reduces action speed while Aspect of the Spider Hinders which slows movement speed.

From what I have read these two debuffs do work together and do have a form of stacking (I think action speed also includes movement, along with attack/cast speed).

Exactly!

I have some more details to share from my study

*Aspect of the Spider Hinders, which slows movement speed.

*Arctic Armor chills, which slows action speed

*Action speed encompasses movement speed, cast speed, attack speed, and stun recovery

*If a monster is both chilled and has a web on them, movement speed is slowed by 44% and cast/attack/stun recovery speed is slowed by 30%

*If a monster has 3 webs (the max), I believe the defensive numbers stay the same but the offensive numbers (damage taken by enemy) will stack. Max will be 15% increased damage taken. I believe this is one of those rare times that "increased" damage actually works out to be "more" damage

5 hours in (lvl 33) and the first thing I did once I was able to use Incinerate for like a minute... was to buy blue flame mtx for it. Kinda crazy that if feels like a p2w effect compared to the base one, thanks to visible indicators for 50/100% stages when channeling. At least it's only 15 coins. From what I've read the default Incinerate effect also had them, but at some point (idk if it's considered a bug or an intentional stealth removal) it lost them.

It still has them on the Std Incinerate effect, but underneath your character instead of above it.
So yea, makes it pretty much invisible during mapping ^^
Why the POB gets you to a build of an elementalist?
Wasn't this an inquisitor build? :S

Ok I saw the answer, sry for asking again!

I used to think that too, but after you get the +2 stages you still have to do a self-count or look at the icon to see when you hit 10 stages. Besides, I think in past discussions we decided it's best to just keep holding incinerate at max stages instead of release for max dps.

@Andy - I know you are doing endless heist, and seems like more streamers are recommending it this league. Sirgog's video says people are telling him endless heist no longer works, as in contracts don't reset when you delevel. Not sure if that's correct, but thought of you immediately:

Do you need Awakened Hextouch support for Reckoning+flam to even proc? I've tried the 4-link with regular Hextouch and it never proc'd. I know I've small % block chance, but I tried quite a few times on regular monsters.
Reckon hextouch works, just keep testing :)
@Andy I asked BIgDucks about the infinite heist and he says it still works
