I'm using purity of fire, stone golem + holy relic, malevolence and using cyclone for added damage. Currently around lvl 35. Survivability wise i feel like i'm good, but i got a ton of fire/electric res and really low cold so i gotta fix that. Damage is "okayish" but i'd love to have more especially since bossing takes a LONG time. I'm considering a tabula so i can add the last support gem to RF but i'm not sure what i can change to make this better. I still haven't gone for the CWDT setups 'cause i'm early on in levelling. I also don't particularly enjoy moving around with cyclone since it's not a cyclone build and i was thinking of what i could use for added damage as an alternative..scorching ray? Pastebin's aren't working right now so I can't take a look. RF scales with your life, endurance charges, fire damage...lots of nodes on the tree. As you level the skill will get much stronger. As you get rid of your uniques and into some Rares with life, you'll see huge improvements. Scorching Ray's bonus damage will be redundant with our CwDT links. So only bother using it until you have that link setup. If you don't want Cyclone, you'll need to pick something that can work with Fortify Support (remember we have crappy accuracy). This RF build will get really good for you. The better the gear, the better the progress. This build will benefit from very few uniques. I know your response was a few days ago. How's the progress now? According to POB RF has 125k shaper DPS (EE+max end. charges) and goes up to 169k if you have inspiration charges Vaal RF from 496k goes up to 669k To keep up inspiration charges is very easy. I was using HFT last league, but removed it this league for the reasons that you mentioned, too mana dependant. They fit the attribute requirements easily and have Elemental Damage Implicits. On your gear, you just want really high life rolls and resists! Done! Only worry about bonus damage mods on your non-weapon gear once you have great life and resist mods on everything. But please, ask anything you like. RF is SOOOOO fun once it's setup and it's really nice to not need ANY specific gear for it.
