Hi dude. I played with your exploding skeletons last league and i love it.
Now i tried this one.
Life regen sustained after 1st lab (for me it's lvl 30), damage is OK.

I also would like you to use an elder rare helmet with "Socketed Gems are supported by Level # Concentrated Effect" and "Socketed Gems are supported by Level # Burning Damage". Helmets with these affixes is relatively cheap (about 10c) and gives you pseudo 6-link setup.

With this setup we can use scorching ray in the body armor or Kaom's Hearth for maximum damage.
Hey svataru!

Welcome to the Fire Side :). I'm glad you liked the Slow-Mo build. The damage picks up and just keeps getting better and better. It's the nature of RF scaling with your life.

Your helmet idea would be a dream! Hopefully you can get it! Lots of those special mods have changed this league.

Watch out for Exposure. Remember that exposure doesn't stack with other exposures of the same element. I think Scorching Ray was changed to Exposure. But if it does more exposure damage than our current skills, it'd be a great fit.

Nice to have you on this side of the tree :).

Why use elemental overload if you don't have any crit nodes?
Hey there Wrecker_of_Days.

So after playing around with your "slowmo" build a few times (and actually never finishing it because console issues), I decided it was time to go tank. I gotta say I find this build slow, and I miss going fast. But it is simple, methodical, no nonsense.

I am currently level 60, 5 link RF with the 6th link being Holy Flame Totem because.. reasons. I should change my links a bit, but I'll probably keep HFT around for the emergency consecrated grounds.
My build is currently a bit weak because I'm still using a tabula... at level 60 I know ;)

Once I get or craft an amazing 5 or 6 link chest, this is going to melt even more... can't wait haha. Just wanted to say thanks for the build mate. I just hate having to smash around 1000 buttons while trying to farm specific gear. I can do what I want with this build, and man do I thank you for that. I don't play simple tanky builds enough haha.
Would lightning damage to attacks from any other source (e. g. ring, jewel) do the same trick as "Added Lightning Damage Support" combined with cyclone?
Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. One-click-wonders that do not require any specific items to conquer the campaign and the Atlas: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2606288/page/1

Hey MitchUndead!

You are not blind :). I intentionally do not have a levelling step by step guide. I find that because PoE is such a crazy game, people either aren't familiar with it, or they are. So for those that know the game well and are just looking for a guide to give them a fresh idea, they don't need the levelling section. And with people that aren't familiar with the game well enough to level on their own, I find it very valuable for them to take things slow, learn the game, try out different skills...that kind of thing. Everyone has a differing preference for how they want to level.

BUT that being said, I am going to be adding a levelling section to this guide. As this build has increased in popularity over the leagues, I've found that people find levelling this build pretty difficult. It won't be a step by step section though. Just levelling tips, points, and suggestions to help out until someone is primarily using RF. That won't be done for a bit though. At the beginning of a league, there are lots of replies to make on each guide. But it'll get done once my guides slow down a bit.

Was there anything specific you wanted help with?

I just wasn't sure what to use for a while. I started using RF as soon as i could, around 24ish. I got myself 2 Kikazaru rings, a belt of the deceiver, springleaf, a dark seer, shaper's seed and lachtonial caress. I'm using purity of fire, stone golem + holy relic, malevolence and using cyclone for added damage. Currently around lvl 35. Survivability wise i feel like i'm good, but i got a ton of fire/electric res and really low cold so i gotta fix that.
Damage is "okayish" but i'd love to have more especially since bossing takes a LONG time. I'm considering a tabula so i can add the last support gem to RF but i'm not sure what i can change to make this better. I still haven't gone for the CWDT setups 'cause i'm early on in levelling.

I also don't particularly enjoy moving around with cyclone since it's not a cyclone build and i was thinking of what i could use for added damage as an alternative..scorching ray?

UPDATE:

Just got into mapping, my cold res still needs to be fixed but the feeling of being immortal is slowly fading..damage still a bit meh :(

Hello
I find hard to sustain end. Charges. Sometimes I have max and other times I stay at 1 charge for quite some time.
Because end.charges are unreliable (at least for me), I came up with an idea.
Inspiration charges:
https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Inspiration_Support
Linking inspiration support gem with cyclone you can have 5 inspiration charges almost instantaneously (in appr. 0.5sec) and 35% MORE elemental damage.
Of course, you have to link a second inspiration gem with RF in order to benefit from inspiration charges.

The down side is that we have to adjust our gem links

Tawhoa, Forest's Strength gives "35% chance to gain an Endurance Charge when you use a Fire skill"

Once you hit that, having a fire skill socketed somewhere is useful.. I leveled using in part Holy Flame Totem. I keep it around for the consecrated grounds, but also since it helps trigger my endurance charge if i really need some :)

Enduring cry on a unset ring can help you with keeping charges.

Hey Damonls!

(I'll be putting out an example video in three days for this guide.) This build uses EO as bonus damage. I find that even with just the base crit chance of the spells that CwDT1 are constantly setting off, that we have EO active quite often. Once the 3.9 example video is out, you'll get to see how often it procs without any investment.

Good question.

Hey ActualFlyboy! Welcome to the Fire Side!

Ya, with Cyclone, movement speed is important. Lots of people add movement skills to this build. Flame Dash is a popular one. Like you said though, it really picks up. I'm glad you're liking it! It's a big difference from minions.

Thanks for such kind praise. I really appreciate it. I'm really surprised at how many people enjoy/prefer our preferred style of play. Thanks again. You're very kind.
