How do we proc elemental overload?

looking at my pob - crit chance of vortex is 0%
do we need some critical strike chance items?
You crit with the trigger spells in your wand (and the hit portion of cold snap if i'm not mistaken)

I can easily do t16 maps.
But i often killed in 81 82 83 heists, what can i do to be more tanky? expect from raising my energy(i have 6800 with discipline)


I have 7400 ES but still have issues in high level heists also. I have zero issues in any other area except of course 100% delirium . I started using flesh and stone (sand stance) instead of zealotry. I dont have an issues with damage, so just get a little more defense for heists. I have tried decoy totem and it doesnt work that great for me. You could also try smoke mine or a smoke cloud flask instead of a quicksilver?

Where does your damage intake come from in a heist? Use your flame dash and flasks to around, nothing should ever be hitting you. Mobs in heist do so much damage that it doesnt really make a difference if you hav 7 or 9k ES. You should just not get hit much. The Blasphemy Temp Chains do a lot for that. Just pop flasks, phase through them, drop Vortex on the way, get new flask charges.
Is Aspect of the Spider better than Zealotry? Loving the build so far and my gear is getting pretty good. I don't know if I want to swap to Aspect of the Spider though.. suggestions?

I have been using this build this league and so far its been great. I am currently having trouble crafting the wand I need with cold dot and +1 cold gems. Can anyone tell me what method they used to craft their wand.
I would guess Fossil crafting would be the best option, but it wouldn't be cheap. I would probably select Faceted, Frigid, Prismatic, Sanctified. There's a risk with Frigid though that you'll also get + Cold damage to spells which would ruin the craft.

The weighting for +1 cold gems is very low and while the weighting for Cold DoT is higher, it's still pretty low. So even with Fossils there's no guarantee of getting the right roles, or the range that you need.

You may also block all your suffixes with crafting meaning you can't add the Trigger craft we need. So you may have to Annul and hope you don't delete one of your desired affixes.


You could also try Alt spamming to get +1 cold gems with a useful suffix like Int, Increased Cold Damage or DoT if you're super lucky, then regal and hope for a good Spell Damage range. That would give you two prefixes and a suffix. Then multi mod which takes up a suffix leaving you one prefix and one suffix spare. We use the suffix for our trigger craft so you can then add one extra prefix which would ideally be the Cold DoT Multiplier.

Either of these crafting options are likely to cost you a lot in crafting materials so be prepared for the outlay.

Before you do any of that though, see if you can just buy what you need as in many cases it will be cheaper.
I bought a wand that had cold gems fractured from heist, and then slapped an essence on it until i could cleanly scour the suffixes, to then multimod. But that most of the time leaves you with only 4 usable affixes.

better would be to alt/aug and then regal, until you hit spell damage and cold dot, and then multimod for suffixes anyway.

But i would definitely try to buy a wand with a useful fracture for a few ex.
Hello, could I get some feedback on where to target my next gear upgrade.

I'm playing SSF and have a pile of currency that I need to start using, but not sure where the biggest upgrade would be. I'm staying CI (obviously hard to LL in SSF) and I haven't added any cluster jewels to the build yet.

I mainly die after the alarm is raised when there is cluster of monsters behind door.
