I’m still having issues with survivability on this build.
I’ve reworked my passives time and time again, tried different jewels, more jewels, etc.
The only thing I didn’t try was getting a weapon with fortify, the rare belt with +% attributes and str rolls, and buying 21/23 gems for zombies and spectres. (I wanted to make my own and it isn’t going so well.)
Anyone got any ideas?
(Quicksilver flask is on an alt char right now)
I'm literally immortal, im bad at mechanics so my playstyle is to just find a build that can face tank everything b/c im not good enough to perform the mechanics.
When I 1st switched to the build I was having a hard time too, dps was fine starting out but I was getting 1 hit quite often, from like a screen away.
You could try my skill tree, its the same core as OPs but heavily weighted towards defense in the pathing, and tbh the #1 thing that changed my life were
b/c with these boots you move at 150% move speed at ALL times including while cycloning so you never, ever, have to stop cycloning which means that extra ES from your offering is always up.
The other thing you want to do is invest into a kingmaker for your AG so you always have fortify up.
If you get a chance though check out my necro and skill tree, I had similar issues starting out so dont feel bad.
Thanks a lot, I'm definitely gonna check that out and see how it goes.
Not every peepee time is a poopoo time, but every poopoo time is a peepee time.
I am currently running the Geofri's version with auras and curse.
I feel tanky but i feel like my minions do done much damage in T10+ maps. I am trying to get a good wep with +1 +2 like you list but im stuck at 5ex. Your new build with the avian chest looks like it would be more dmg based. but i like being tanky which is why i went this route vs the victarios. tho i liked the victarios play style. does the avian chest give us the avian buff? or do i need another item that has that buff so i get the benefits from he chest?
Wikid
I honestly instant-phase bosses or kill them in my full tank spec, have 16 massively OP zombies, 4 spectres, and my AG.
You can get insane dps on the tanky build you just need to get the weapon and then work on 21/23 gems, thats whats holding you back.
I would just buy the weapon pre-made with just the 2 rolls, I got mine for like 4ex iirc, then you add the other mods yourself with your bench.
I did just get a better wep, had another ex drop so i had enough
I would of prefered one with the avian skill but went for 103% extra minion dmg.
Def feels much better. guess now i just need to work on getting more strength so i can swap to some speed gear. I tried the lethal pride jewel but ran out of currency/will to spend that much money on a jewel.
Ya dont set your money on fire with a lethal pride jewel, that can wait.
The hardest part of this build is not falling victim to the "omfg I have to get 1500-2000 STR" mindset.
Sure more STR is great, more ES/zombie dmg/additional zombies etc but 1500+ is a luxury and not needed. I sit at the 1500 mark and im not using alberon's boots or a crafted amulet, I just have the normal astramentis neck and use the best boots in the fkng world, the stampede.
Just focus on getting raise zombies to lv30, everything after that is just extra.
If I am a little currency limited, can I get away with a 6 socket/5 link chest, where the unlinked socket is used for Vaal Haste when facing bosses, in the aura setup?

Im still curious how everyone is getting 6k or more es, im currently right at 1k es and around 2500 life..
Your gear and jewels are out of whack is all.
This build exploits specific items and jewels to convert 1 stat into another.
Click on my name, JCOH35, click on my characters tab and view my necromancer's skill tree.
Do you see those 3 large blue circles in my skill tree, inside those circles all the INT nodes and bonus' are being converted to STR by the effeicient training jewels.
Secondly, we convert our STR into ES with shaper's touch gloves.
Basically just glance at our characters when you get a moment and you can see what we are using, make sure to view skill trees and jewels/placement.
AHh OK I have about 255 strength atm- well I did mention Im in HC and ripped about 9 times this league so IM just trying to make it into maps atm. The Baron is going for 30C and Geoffries was 140c and those jewels (190C), shapers are 145C as well - Ill never be able afford those. SO Im playing a out of the stash and stuff I find build atm … Havent seen an Exalt drop yet this league either so Im still broke..Ill keep pushing along - hit 70 and smashed Kitava so Im in maps again - hopefully I don't rip again ….
In game since Minotaur League..

I'm sure this build could be done on a reasonable budget but with it being so meta everything is absurdly, I mean absurdly priced.
For example on the normal metamorph league lv21/23% raise zombie gems went from 8 to 13 ex in one night. Our BiS amulets and waists can go for 60 to 150 ex etc, its just nuts.

Its whatever you want, its a 2nd free annointment, just lets me hit 1,500 STR and stack more hp. You can go charisma, whispers of doom, skewering force, essence surge, constitution, literally anything to fit your needs.
Tbh people in the thread are just bored b/c they are so massively overpowered and wealthy from steam rolling the content. The majority of the stuff you dont even need.
If I was extreme min/maxing id switch to corrupted vulnerability gloves and fit skitterbots in, I could probally even annoint charisma and find a way to squeeze blood and sand in but its just over-kill.
I already instantly kill or phase bosses now so im just saving my money for an insanely priced 50ish ex watchers eye.
Since I get free 100% uptime phase run in the form of my boosted cyclone my hands are totally free, so I use those extra sockets for my clarity (watchers eye maximum mana/es hack) and to add utility to my carrion golem, I link maim and blind to him. Then to top it all off I get free frozen raging spirits flying around from my enchantment so it just looks cool when im wrecking things.

I know. But with utmost might, you'll benefit more.
