I am extremely inexperienced but I was looking at "Essence Glutton+Bone Offering" in place of Spirit Offering.

But honestly I don't know if it's worth it, I still would like to test it myself when I can login, but EG seems rather week compared to old Spirit offering, on top of losing one of the other Passives.

Also I don't know if it is a huge deal losing Spirit Offering, to me it is, since I was having trouble keeping the zombie alive in Tier 3 maps, as I said I am pretty much a noob, I only got to play the build for like 5 days, but my point is that it really seemed like I needed that gem to keep them alive.

Simply put, your experience in the league doesn't give much weight to your statement that the build will be fine. Given your limited experience with the league/build, you might want to refrain from stating your assertions so matter-of-factly.

Sorry, but I never play a game to level 100, it's a waste of my time...

But as easily as I was able to wipe content on T16 and kill guardians without skellies or a Baron, it may have been a little bit harder and practice to get further ,but that's about it... The point being, is if it was that easy to run T16's without a Baron and skellies without dying very often, then I don't think pushing further would have been more different, maybe a few more deaths to learn the fight mechanics.

But yes, if you are trying to do this deathless, then I get your point....Then again, I never go into a build thinking or hoping I can run it deathless.

But I trust Brunowa though, and if he says this build is still OP after some testing that he did, then I believe him...

For newely leveling couple of paths Im considering.
Going to Grave intentions at 8 passives, gives minions quite alot of survivability and halfway caps the elemental resistance.

Alternative 2 Lord of the dead through the arcanist domination at 7 passives. Well rounded

Alternative 3 Enduring Bond at 9 passives.

Alternative 4 Death Attunement at 13 passives.

Wich ones do you think will do the best?

Might be worth going death attunement if finding a Cluster Jewel very early.

The feeding frenzy boost is a buff on you. So your golem will give you the buff instead of your zombies. Feeding Frenzy in the zombie link isnt manditory.

I am starting a new yawb beginning next week so I'm going to have limited playtime and will find myself in standard until I get settled. That and I want to finish leveling my necro to 100.

For those of us staying in standard this league (dont hate) what items should we be investing in prior to 3.10?

Geofri's + Baron + Shaper's touch?

I love my saqawal setup but want to have as many legacy items for options depending on what you geniuses come up with for 3.10

Build is pretty versatile, I was just looking at the golem version of the build to compensate for loss of a few zombies. I've played a fire golem build several leagues ago, haven't tried carrion yet, but the fire golems cleared pretty darn good by themselves into late game.

But now with this build, Mix in golems, zombies, spectre which may be better now with more choices, animate guardian, and still have vaal skellies to pop still gotta be tough. Anyone look over what new spectres are available yet?

Ok guys. I defintely think Spirit Offering nerf may lead us to manually cast either Bone or Flesh Offering. No Cycloning so we can use bows....and



Three sockets for....curses, triggers, utility?

Even if we don't use an Ornate Quiver having a Quiver like this...is wow.





Or more ES and recharge...

I love the variety of this build but at the same time I find I get too sidetracked with build versions.

If there were one version of this build to play, what would it be? What minions, gems, and gear?

LOL, you are in the middle of possibly the biggest nerf one build has endured in the history of POE. So expect many changes and build ideas in the following days.
