I don't think I would play this build without Darkscorn / Timeless Jewel mechanic. With Darkscorn and Timless jewel and Chaos Resistance at 85% you become very tanky.

So, I would get a Darkscorn and Glorious Vanity (both droppped in price) and get my resistances to 85%. You will notice a difference like day and night.

Hey, I'm sorry but I am not sure what you mean with "default build", but 85% of the Pathfinder/Scourge Arrow players (according to PoE Ninja) are using Darkscorn and Glorious Vanity. That seems to be the default according to the numbers.

I can't really say much about other variants of this build, but before I switched from a rare bow to Darkscorn + Glorious Vanity, I died way more often.

Path of building has 4 item sets: "Default", "Iron Reflexes", "Divine Flesh" and "Starter". So I have been basically just going with the "Default" one.

Oh yeah, I thought for some reason at this point Darkscorn + GV was the default, as it is just so strong. I have never tried any of the other variants, can't say much about it, sorry.

But personally, I would always recommend playing with Darkscorn and GV. Without it I think I would rather play a different ranged build other than Scourge Arrow. (my personal opinion)

Well the default setup still has 7k EHP after you gear up and like 50/50 dodge, I am not sure if I would call that no real defensive mechanic. That is already more than majority of other bow builds. And there are many options for life recovery if that is your issue, what are listed in main post.

Its mostly because the default setup is the easiest one to gear and also most flexible, and migrating to other variations is very straightforward based on what you want to do (and also, at league start going for Darkscorn + GA is basically nogo, and I tried to make the build very league start and beginner friendly).

Is there something we have to edit in POB to show the proper DPS when you have a vicious proj bow?

wasn't sure if the DPS is calculated already or if we need to add vicious proj into our skill links? or if POB already adds the damage automatically.

I tried messing around with the level of vicious proj on the bow and the dps didn't change.

Edit: was also wondering if we have 100% chance to poison without Corlitto's, if the increased duration alone is worth it of if it would be better to switch to another flask?

How to configure PoB for your own character

After importing your character to PoB, follow these steps to properly configure it to show your actual stats:

1. Switch to your Scourge Arrow setup (still in Main Skill section) and select Thorn Arrows in dropdown under skill
btw the"2." is lost on Side 1 Boss :-D
3. If your bow is Darkscorn or bow with Delve mod 60% chance for Poisons inflicted with this Weapon to deal 100% more Damage, select it in items section, click Edit.., add 60% more damage with Poison at bottom and click Save (this is workaround for poison mod, because PoB do not supports it atm). Important! If you use LocalIdentity's fork, this workaround is not required, fork already supports this mod.
4. If you are using Summon Skitterbots select some item (that is not flask) and click Edit.. again and add Enemies Taunted by you take 17% increased Damage. This is to simulate shock from Skitterbots
5. Enable all flasks in items section and switch to configuration section
6. Set Is enemy boss? to Shaper/Guardians
7. Check Do you use Frenzy Charges?
8. Check Is the enemy Chilled?
9. Check Is the enemy Blinded?
10. Check Is the enemy Ignited?
11. Check Is the enemy Taunted?
12. Check Is Infusion active?
13. Set # of Withered stacks to 15. If you use Wither, select Wither in Main Skill section and set it's stacks to 15 instead.
14. Set # of Virulence stacks to 40
15. Set # of Poison on enemy to 40

Oh oops, I will fix that, ty :d

And also, on top of configuring your PoB, you need to set that your SA is socketed inside of your weapon if it isnt already, and then PoB automatically accounts for vicious projectiles (or at least it should).

And corallito is huge, it basically doubles the poison duration, its big uptime and dps boost.
